People's Daily Yinchuan, January 20 (Zhang Wen, Zhao Moyu) "small fat pier" has become a big problem, how to do? On the 20th, Fan Wenjie, member of the Ningxia Cppcc Committee and director of the People's Political Consultative Conference Newspaper in Ningxia, said in an interview with this network that it is recommended that the whole society pay attention to the health problems of "small fat piers" and guide and promote their healthy growth.

According to the 2020 Report on nutrition and chronic diseases of Chinese residents by the Information Office of the State Council, 19% of children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 in mainland China and 10.4% of children under 6 years of age are overweight or obese. In 2020, the National Health Commission, the Ministry of Education and other six ministries and commissions issued the "Implementation Plan for the Prevention and Control of Childhood and Adolescent Obesity", which requires that the average annual increase in the overweight rate and obesity rate of children and adolescents aged 0-18 years from 2020 to 2030 will decrease by 70% on the basis of the baseline.

"Obesity not only affects physical and mental health, but also increases the risk of obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and other diseases in adulthood, reducing the ability to exercise and learn." Fan Wenjie said.

In this regard, Fan Wenjie suggested a mechanism led by the government, multi-sectoral cooperation, and the participation of the whole society. Formulate policies related to the prevention and control of obesity in adolescents and children, and strengthen monitoring. Carry out universal prevention for all children and adolescents, targeted prevention for "obese" groups, and comprehensive prevention for obese individuals. At the same time, health care institutions are encouraged to provide personalized nutritional prescriptions and exercise prescriptions for overweight and obese children according to their needs.

"It's still necessary to focus on prevention." In Fan Wenjie's view, parents, schools and communities should jointly cultivate and intervene in the living habits of obese adolescents. Among them, primary and secondary schools and kindergartens should be equipped with full-time (part-time) nutrition and health management personnel to optimize the dietary structure of students; ensure that the daily outdoor activity time is not less than 2 hours; primary and secondary school students have a medium intensity activity time of not less than 1 hour per day.

After investigation, Fan Wenjie found that the publicity and popularization of obesity prevention and control knowledge was not enough. "It is recommended to use platforms such as communities, parent schools, and health classrooms to strengthen the publicity of obesity prevention and control." At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the construction of community sports venues, promote the opening of public sports facilities to teenagers free of charge or at low cost, and support the opening of primary and secondary school sports venues to teenagers on holidays. Fan Wenjie said.
