An explosion occurred in a commercial street in the Anakali district of Lahore, the capital of Pakistan's Punjab, at 13:45 on the 20th, killing at least 3 people, including a child, and injuring another 26 people.

Lahore police spokesman Lana Arif confirmed the number of casualties. He said a bomb was "placed" on a motorcycle, but did not provide further details.

Police said windows of nearby shops and buildings were shattered in the blast, as were motorcycles parked near the site of the blast.

The injured have been transferred to Mayo Hospital. Staff at Mayo Hospital said four people were in critical condition and doctors were saving their lives.

Every day, a large number of tourists flock to the Anakali area, which has many markets and various commercial centers.
