"This is a telecommunications network fraud case posing as a leader, we received the alarm to verify and then went to Yichun, Jiangxi Province to handle the case and arrest people, and in a total of 15 working days, we recovered the fraudulent money." Ma Hongbin, commander of the third squadron of the criminal police brigade, said when introducing the case.

It is understood that in 2021, the Tengzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau will prevent and combat telecommunications network fraud crimes as the primary task of criminal crackdown, in response to the crackdown on such cases, the bureau's criminal police brigade has established a crackdown team of "new type of criminal operation center + responsibility area squadron", improved the case early warning, research and judgment, and dissuasion mechanism, implemented the case responsibility system of the squadron in the area of responsibility, opened the "criminal police frontline" TV column, anti-fraud WeChat public account and media publicity channels at all levels, and opened a WeChat working group, through "daily dispatch, weekly research and judgment." The monthly reporting system, tracking each case from time to time, cracking down in a timely manner, comprehensively publicizing prevention, reminding and dissuading, maximizing the recovery of stolen goods and recovering losses, a total of 230 cases were solved throughout the year, 634 criminal suspects were arrested, more than 1.8 early warning and persuasion were implemented, more than 180 cases were successfully persuaded, and more than 11 million yuan of defrauded funds were recovered and returned, protecting the interests of the people to the greatest extent.
