"Now the epidemic prevention situation at home is very tense, so this year I still can't go home for the New Year."

Gao Wei, a public welfare person of "Hanglan": Wearing a touch of Qiantang "blue", he is about to stay in Qiantang for the third year

The name of the person who said this was Gao Wei, and his hometown was in Shaanxi. 10 years ago, he came to work in a company in Xiasha, Qiantang District, Hangzhou, and has stayed in Xiasha ever since. Currently, Gao Wei is a legal practitioner. In July last year, he joined the Qiantang District Red Cross Hangzhou Blue Rescue Team and became a "HangLan" public welfare person.

In the past year, he has participated in many large and small rescue operations and volunteer services, from being on duty at the forefront of the fight against typhoon "fireworks", to actively participating in the epidemic prevention and killing work of schools in the district, from searching for the lost elderly overnight, to salvaging Qiantang River jumpers for four days. Due to Gao Wei's long-term outstanding performance, at this year's annual meeting of the Hangzhou Blue Rescue Team, he won the honorary title of "Excellent Team Member". "In fact, I didn't think about what honor I would get because of this, the team members were all doing public welfare for free or even posting money, although it was very hard, but because everyone had love in their hearts, they all persevered."

Talking about why he joined the Hangzhou Blue Rescue Team, Gao Wei said with a smile: "It should be a public welfare feeling." In fact, sometimes there is a certain danger in action, but my family is very supportive of me to do this, which gives me a lot of motivation. "Gao Wei's family has two children who are in the first year of junior high school and kindergarten, because he usually has to work, so he usually leaves the rescue team on weekends, and there is almost no time to spend with the children," but they know that dad is doing good deeds, and the children have always been very proud of it." Gao Wei said that in order to make up for the lack of companionship for his children on weekdays, Gao Wei decided to take his family to Zhoushan or Huangshan for a trip during the New Year's Break this year, and spend the Year of the Tiger happily with his family.

Due to the epidemic situation and work reasons in his hometown, this year is already the third year that Gao Wei's family has stayed in Qiantang for the New Year. "Although I can't go home for the New Year, my family is here, and I don't feel alone. I like the city of Hangzhou very much, and I also like Qiantang. In Gao Wei's eyes, Qiantang is a clean and vibrant city, and he said that he hopes that in the future, he can settle down in Qiantang with his family, become a real Qiantang person, and contribute to the public welfare cause of Qiantang.
