Sanshui Nanshan Photovoltaic Composite Project effectively improves rural land use efficiency, realizes a win-win situation of photovoltaic power generation and agricultural breeding, will bring good energy-saving and environmental benefits to Nanshan Town and even Sanshui District, and provide important support for Sanshui District to further promote the layout of new energy industry.

It is reported that Guangdong Energy Foshan Sanshui Nanshan Town Photovoltaic Composite Project is the first large-scale centralized photovoltaic ground power station project in Foshan, with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan and an area of about 12,000 mu, which will be planned to be built into a large-scale solar power station with an installed capacity of 700MW, with an estimated revenue of about 300 million yuan and an average annual tax of about 42 million yuan. The project is divided into two phases, the first phase of investment is about 1.5 billion yuan, covers an area of about 5,000 acres, after the commissioning of the annual clean electricity for the local area of about 322 million degrees, will effectively reduce the consumption of fossil resources, alleviate the pressure of environmental protection, for the implementation of carbon peak, carbon neutrality goals, to achieve the coordinated development of economy and environment to make a positive contribution.

The project adopts a model combined with fishery aquaculture for photovoltaic power generation, and carries out aquaculture intensively with high standards, which not only improves the utilization rate of rural land, but also increases the economic added value of the project. At the same time, the project cleans up inefficient free-range pig houses, which can play a role in purifying pond water, reducing the source of agricultural pollution, and providing a long-term and effective guarantee for the stable water quality of the river.
