On January 20th, the donation ceremony of Nanjing University's Baoshide Outstanding Talent Cultivation and Research Fund was held at Nanda Xianlin Campus. Gao Zhendong, an alumnus of NTU, founder and president of Baoshide Technology Co., Ltd., and Sun Guoxiang, founder, director and vice president of Baoshide Technology Co., Ltd., donated 120 million yuan to initiate the establishment of the "Nanjing University Set Up Baoshide Outstanding Leading Talent Cultivation and Research Fund".

On behalf of the school, Lv Jian, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and president of NTU, thanked Gao Zhendong alumni, Sun Guoxiang alumni and Baoshide Technology for their generous and charitable deeds. He pointed out that the Baoshide enterprise founded by Gao Zhendong alumni actively explored the creation of international brands belonging to China, and made unique contributions to promoting the transformation of Chinese manufacturing to Chinese creation and the transformation of Chinese products to Chinese brands. Today, Gao Zhendong alumni and their enterprises have set up a special fund to further support the alma mater to cultivate young students with dreams and struggles into top-notch leaders and outstanding leaders in all walks of life who can shoulder the mission of the times, have a global vision, promote scientific and technological innovation, and lead social development.
Gao Zhendong expressed his gratitude to the leaders and colleagues of NTU for their great support in the process of the conception and establishment of the fund. He said that talent is the premise and guarantee for the successful transformation of Baoshide from manufacturing to brand management, China's education has been constantly improving, but in the journey of national rejuvenation, more and more high-quality elite talents are needed, and it is expected that the establishment of the "Baoshide Outstanding Talent Cultivation and Research Fund" can help the alma mater explore a path of outstanding elite training with NTU characteristics, and nurture more leaders and leaders in the new era, innovative and creative talents.
At the ceremony, Gao Zhendong, Zou Yajun and Wang Zhilin signed a donation agreement on behalf of both parties; Gao Zhendong and Sun Guoxiang jointly delivered a cheque of 120 million yuan to their alma mater; and Lu Jian issued a certificate of appreciation for donation to Gao Zhendong and Sun Guoxiang alumni on behalf of the school. Xu Jun, Executive Vice Dean of the Undergraduate School of NTU, introduced the "Outstanding Talent Cultivation and Research Program of Nanjing University".
It is reported that Gao Zhendong alumni and Sun Guoxiang alumni are also graduates of the Department of Physics of Nanjing University in 1985 and are the founders of Baoshide Technology. For more than 20 years, it has created the brand miracle of Baoshide. The two alumni have a deep affection for their alma mater and have donated funds to support the education of their alma mater's matriarchal department on many occasions. The "Nanjing University Baoshide Outstanding Talent Cultivation and Research Fund" donated this time focuses on supporting the construction and development of the "Baoshide Outstanding Talent Cultivation and Research Center" of Nanjing University, which was established at the same time, and provides a more systematic cultivation environment, better education resources and a more high-end growth platform for various types of talents such as "top-notch innovative talents", "future technology leading talents", "innovative and entrepreneurial outstanding talents" and "future leadership talents".
