Recently, the Swan Lake in the Aoyuan Community of Jiuliting Street has been rectified and upgraded and revitalized.
As one of the central landscapes of the Aoyuan community, Swan Lake is the habitat of black swans, and the lakeside square is also a popular recreation place for residents. However, nearly 20 years of siltation has gradually deteriorated the water environment of this small artificial lake, and the scenery of the small bridge is no longer flowing, but replaced by mosquito breeding. Previously, under the impact of Typhoon "Fireworks", the iconic white canvas awning by the lake was also damaged and collapsed, affecting the community environment.
To this end, a number of community residents reflected to the neighborhood committee that they hoped that the relevant departments would clean up the silt at the bottom of the lake, open up the pipeline from Swan Lake to the waters of Caojing River, form a living water cycle through the water supply pipeline, and solve the water environment problems of Swan Lake at one time. In this regard, the general branch of the party of Aoyuan Residential Area responded in a timely manner and fed back the situation to the relevant departments of the street, the Party Working Committee and office of Jiuliting Street attached great importance to it, and led the holding of river management forums for many times, and the Street Development Office, the River Chief's Office, the Water Affairs Office and the community "troika" listened to the voices of the people, gathered public opinion, and formulated a comprehensive rectification plan.
On August 11 last year, the water environment improvement project of Swan Lake in Aoyuan Community was officially launched. Neighborhood committees, industry committees, property, construction units and other departments closely communicated and cooperated to conduct a thorough investigation of the wired network, gas pipelines, high and low voltage cables and other facilities and equipment in the area around Swan Lake, and after grasping the distribution of underground pipelines, successively carried out dredging of the lake bottom and laying of water supply pipelines. At the beginning of January this year, after obtaining the consent of the owner, the property company completed the replacement of the canvas awning on the lakeside square, and the five-month rectification and upgrading project was finally completed. "The neighborhood committee has really done a great thing for everyone." For the changes in Swan Lake, resident Wu Liyu saw it in his eyes and was happy in his heart.
"The water pumping station and the fountain are newly built, the fountain will be opened regularly every day, and now the lake is 'alive', and there is no need to be afraid of water quality problems anymore." Shen Chunhuan, general secretary of the party branch of the Aoyuan residential area, told reporters.
