How to choose the direction

Whether your design for happiness is career or honor, wealth or status, peaceful life or perfect love; whatever you choose, first of all, be clear about your direction. Only then will it be possible for us to move towards the right goal.

There are three brothers in a poor family, each of whom is very industrious and brave, and what is even more rare is that they all have a kind and sincere heart.

Lady Luck, after learning about the three noble brothers, decided to help them. She gave them a year to be successful in anything they could do in a year. Of course, the three brothers didn't know they were under the favor of Lady Luck—in their senses, it was just that their luck had suddenly improved in the recent past, to the point where they could do what they wanted. So in the following year, they each chose their own "career".

The eldest brother has a talent for art since childhood, and his portraits and animals can be faked, but due to the poverty of his family, although his sculptures are vivid, they are still not discovered by people outside the village. But suddenly, all this changed—a traveler who had stumbled into the three brothers' home to spend the night saw Big Brother's work and was amazed at Big Brother's skillful technique of bringing life to ordinary dirt. And this traveler is precisely a nationally renowned connoisseur of art. Before leaving, he bought one of his eldest brother's works, brought it back to the capital of the empire, and dedicated it to the king.

At this moment, the originally unknown big brother rose to fame and was directly invited to the capital by the king. His works also swept the country for a time, and the supply exceeded demand. The eldest brother was not carried away by this unexpected success, and he took the opportunity to visit many masters with unique achievements in the field of art, and learned many ideas and techniques about sculpture from them. After a year, he developed his own style and genre and became the country's greatest master of sculpture.

The second brother is different from the eldest brother, he has always been dissatisfied with the poverty of the family, hoping to help the eldest brother and younger brother by doing some business. However, because he lived in a small isolated village and had no capital, his business had only been able to support his family. But suddenly one day all this changed, and he felt that he could do everything in the mall: when he sold the bucket, it would rain; when he sold grain, the grain would be harvested; when he sold vegetables, the country would inexplicably blow up a wave of price increases for this kind of vegetable. In short, no matter what he does, he will get several times more profit than before. In this way, a year later, the second brother has established his own business empire and become a famous big businessman in the country.

And just when the eldest brother and the second brother are making great strides towards their dreams, the third brother is catching flies. He suddenly felt that the flies had become stupid, and he often couldn't hit them before, but now he was hitting one by one. In one year, the third brother killed countless flies. But a year later, he was still just a poor boy with nothing.

When Lady Luck left, the eldest brother became a nationally renowned sculptor; the second brother had his own business empire; and the third brother, although he had no worries about food and clothing because of the care of the eldest brother and the second brother, still did not know what he should do, and even more worried because of it.

This is a fairy tale that has been widely circulated in Eastern Europe. Although the story is simple, it tells us a truth: we must find the direction of our own efforts!

If we do something, the premise must be that we want to do it: Washington led the United States to independence, and thus became the first president of the United States, must be because he wanted to lead the United States independence, and has worked tirelessly to this end; Edison's life has contributed countless inventions to mankind, greatly changing our lives, provided that he wants to invent, hope to make life better! Not to mention the outstanding contributions made by those great people, even if it is only a small matter of graduating from school, we need to first make it clear that we should also graduate, so that we can learn and finally achieve the results of graduation.

So things are big or small, we must ask our hearts, what exactly is what we really want, what kind of life we really want to live.
