Yingtan, Jiangxi: The integration of urban and rural areas makes the dream of "express delivery into the village" come true

author:Xinhua

"The single from the previous day arrived today, catching up with this cooling, and there is no need to wait for a week." On the afternoon of the 19th, Wu Juan, a villager in Poqiao Village, Binjiang Town, Guixi City, Jiangxi Province, signed for the newly purchased autumn clothes at home. What makes her happiest is that today's online shopping is really receiving goods at the doorstep of her home, and there is no need to run to the town government.

Guixi City is a subordinate city of Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province, the National Urban-Rural Integration Development Pilot Zone. Since the pilot construction of urban-rural integration development, the local integration of express delivery enterprise resources, the establishment of express delivery enterprise alliance operation mechanism, effectively change the past enterprises due to small business volume, high distribution costs and can not enter the village situation, so that the former "express delivery into the village" dream into reality.

Chen Yanjun is one of the first rural supermarket leaders in Guixi To undertake the "express delivery into the village" business, and she is responsible for implementing the distribution problem of the "last kilometer" of rural logistics. On the basis of the original supermarket, the distribution outlets she is responsible for have been given relevant business functions by relevant functional departments, and have developed into comprehensive distribution outlets integrating "daily department store sales, express delivery and dispatch, online purchasing, agricultural and sideline products acquisition and upward movement, and financial redemption".

According to Zhan Laijin, head of the Modern Service Industry Section of the Yingtan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Yingtan City has transformed more than 200 rural outlets in the city, and fully implemented the unified distribution mode of FMCG and express parcels in the city.

This model breaks the boundaries of the ownership of express delivery enterprises, and the social express delivery enterprises jointly establish regional express delivery distribution centers in the form of joint venture participation, so as to achieve the six unifications of "outlets, personnel, vehicles, identification, sorting, and distribution". On this basis, the supply chain enterprises and the express delivery enterprise alliance signed an agreement to distribute express delivery and FMCG products to the logistics distribution outlets in each village.

In addition to solving the "last kilometer" distribution problem of rural express delivery and logistics, the unified distribution mode of FMCG and express parcels also makes all aspects of the industrial chain benefit: FMCG business units further reduce warehousing and distribution costs; express delivery companies improve distribution timeliness while reducing distribution costs; distribution companies further reduce distribution costs through intensive use of distribution resources; operating outlets greatly increase operating income through new business functions.

"Villagers can buy more affordable goods without leaving the village, and they can also sell agricultural and sideline products in a timely manner through outlets to solve the problem of selling." Zhan Laijin said that between one collection and one take, it reflects the development and change of rural delivery services, and "small convenience" reflects the "big people's livelihood" of equalization of urban and rural public services.
