Tips on the health management of returnees from Fangshan District and Fengtai District of Beijing

On January 19, 2022, there were 3 new cases of positive nucleic acid tests for COVID-19 in Fangshan District, Beijing, and 2 new cases of COVID-19 in Fengtai District. In order to effectively do a good job in the normalization of the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in our city, and effectively control and reduce the risk of epidemic transmission, the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention will remind the general public of the following matters:

I. Since January 5, 2022, personnel with a history of residence in Fangshan District, Fengtai District and other domestic epidemic-related areas (see attachments for details) and land border port cities (see annexes for details), persons with trajectories intersecting with confirmed cases (including asymptomatic infected persons), and personnel with red or yellow health codes should report relevant information to their communities and units (or hotels where they live) at the first time, and actively cooperate with local implementation of prevention and control measures such as information registration, nucleic acid testing, health monitoring, and isolation and observation.

Second, the general public is invited to pay close attention to the activity trajectory of confirmed cases (including asymptomatic infected persons) in China and the information dynamics in medium- and high-risk areas, and cooperate with the local implementation of health management measures for returnees from medium- and high-risk areas. Arrange travel reasonably, and do not travel to the areas where the epidemic occurs in China and the districted cities where they are located. If you really need to go in the near future, you must do a good job of personal protection, and after returning, you should take the initiative to cooperate with the local implementation of prevention and control measures.

Third, advocate the recent return of the return of personnel to carry out nucleic acid testing in a timely manner, take the initiative to do a good job of self-health monitoring, once fever, dry cough, fatigue and other symptoms, should immediately go to the nearest fever clinic for treatment, and take the initiative to inform the 14-day activity trajectory and contact history. Wear a mask at all times during your visit and avoid public transportation.

Vaccination is the best way to prevent new crown pneumonia, through vaccination can produce effective protection for individuals, significantly reducing the rate of infection, severe illness and mortality. Citizens who have not yet been fully vaccinated are requested to go to the outpatient clinic near their place of residence as soon as possible to receive vaccinations, early vaccination, early protection.

Fifth, the general public is invited not to gather, not to gather, cancel unnecessary gathering activities, and control personal family dinner gatherings within 10 people. Please always maintain a sense of personal protection, scientifically standardize the wearing of masks, wash hands frequently, ventilate frequently, maintain safe social distance, do not go to crowded and poorly ventilated places, and shorten the stay time in public places. When entering and leaving public places such as stations, wharves, and shopping malls, you should actively cooperate with body temperature measurement, health code and itinerary card inspection.
