Hegemonism is unpopular! Poland supports China and sings "against the stage" with the Biden administration

According to the Global Times reported on January 19, Polish President Duda's foreign affairs adviser Jakub Kumoc confirmed in public that President Duda will attend the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Kumoc said: "Poland is a sovereign state that can decide its own China policy. Although Poland is an ally of the United States, its relations with China are also very friendly. ”

Duda's decision to attend the Winter Olympics is undoubtedly a sign of support for China. At the juncture when the United States called on allies to "diplomatic boycott", this move is undoubtedly singing a "confrontational drama" with the United States, so that the Biden administration will not come to the stage. As a senior aide to President Duda, Kumoc specifically mentioned the relationship with China and the United States when revealing the news that Duda is about to attend the Beijing Winter Olympics, highlighting Poland's independent foreign policy. Otherwise, why deliberately provoke the United States with words?

With the Beijing Winter Olympics looming, the Biden administration not only declared that it would not send government representatives to the conference, but also encouraged and pressured its allies to carry out a "diplomatic boycott." Although the leaders of Lithuania and Australia have echoed, Germany, Poland and other countries that were originally close to the United States have kept their distance from them, and the Czech president even denounced the boycott of the Winter Olympics as a "political clown".

This shows how unpopular hegemonism is. Of course, as an independent and self-reliant power, China is even more dismissive of the HEGEMONism of the United States, saying more than once that it has never invited US government officials and asking Washington not to direct and perform the farce of the so-called "diplomatic boycott" and put away the tricks of political manipulation.

Poland was originally an ally of the United States, and it was extremely close. During the Trump era, the Duda administration also took the initiative to pay for the land, invited the United States to deploy US military bases in its territory, and was also very cooperative with the STRATEGIC encirclement of Russia by the United States. However, after Biden came to power, hegemonism was inflamed, and he quickly turned his face and did not recognize anyone, even Poland's die-hard ally.

According to reports, the Polish TVN company controlled by the US media Discovery Company has repeatedly and groundlessly interfered in Poland's internal and foreign affairs, instigated the people's dissatisfaction with the government, and brought great instability to society, making the Polish government intolerable. In mid-December, the Polish Parliament passed a bill ordering Discovery to reduce its stake in TVN and cede decision-making power to poles.

This was supposed to be a fairly reasonable and necessary bill, but the old problem of hegemonism in the United States immediately began to attack. As soon as the bill was released, under the instigation of American-controlled NGOs, protests in major cities in Poland have risen one after another, and some areas have escalated into riots, and the protesters have pointed their finger at the Duda government and the latest bill in Congress.

As the saying goes: where there is oppression, there is resistance. The United States relies on its superpower power to engage in hegemonic behavior, and even the independence and self-determination of its allies and national interests do not care, it is no wonder that Poland deliberately confronted the White House on the issue of participating in the Winter Olympics this time. This is the first shot fired within the U.S. ally system.
