Han Zhiqiang sent a meeting with The Minister of Education of Thailand, Renu Tiantong

On January 17, Envoy Han Zhiqiang met with The Minister of Education of Thailand, Renu Tiantong. Political Counselor Gai Tang and Education Counselor Feng Junying accompanied him to attend the meeting.

Ambassador Han said that education is the foundation of a country, educational exchanges and cooperation is the most important foundation of state-to-state relations, and such close exchanges between China and Thailand in the field of education are an important embodiment of the high-level development of bilateral relations. With the support of the education authorities of China and Thailand, the two sides have carried out various forms of cooperation in the two-way exchange of teachers and students, Chinese teaching, vocational education, and inter-school cooperation. It is believed that the post-epidemic sino-Thai educational exchanges and cooperation will be better.

Deleanor said that Sino-Thai educational exchanges have a long history, and thanks to China's strong support in the field of education, not only sent international Chinese teacher volunteers to promote the development of thai Chinese education, but also provided a large number of scholarships for Thai students to help them make great contributions to the development of Thailand after returning home.

The two sides also had in-depth exchanges on internships for students of thai vocational colleges, promoting cooperation in Chinese education, cultivating Chinese + vocational skills talents, and carrying out cooperation between vocational colleges and universities.
