Sun Bo, who has been in Shuangyashan City for a long time, served as the assistant mayor, vice mayor, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the city, and was notified of the investigation in June last year.

According to the official resume, Sun Bo, male, Han ethnicity, born in August 1963, Heilongjiang Jixian people, began working in April 1981, joined the Communist Party of China in October 1990, graduated from the Party School of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee, majoring in economic management, and on-the-job graduate degree.

Sun Bo once served as the secretary of the Lingdong District Party Committee of Shuangyashan City, the secretary of the Friendship County Party Committee, the deputy secretary general of the Shuangyashan Municipal Party Committee, and since January 2007, he has served as a member of the municipal government party group and assistant to the mayor, and later served as the deputy secretary and director of the working committee of the municipal economic and technological development zone, the director of the municipal construction bureau, the deputy secretary of the party group and the director of the municipal housing and construction bureau.

In June 2010, Sun Bo was appointed vice mayor of Shuangyashan City. In June 2016, Sun Bo was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Shuangyashan Municipal Party Committee, and two months later, he was also the secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Municipal Party Committee.

In June 2021, Sun Bo ceased to serve as a member of the Standing Committee of the Shuangyashan Municipal Party Committee. On June 21, the Heilongjiang Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection reported that Sun Bo was under disciplinary review and supervision and investigation for serious violations of discipline and law.
