Apps such as the little ape mouth counting aurora words were informed! Collect personal privacy information beyond the scope

On January 20, Nandu reporter learned that the National Computer Virus Emergency Treatment Center recently found that 15 mobile applications had privacy non-compliance through Internet monitoring, violating the relevant provisions of the Cybersecurity Law and the Personal Information Protection Law, and suspected of collecting personal privacy information beyond the scope, including App such as Xiao Ape Mouth Arithmetic, Aurora Word, and Helian Health.

According to the National Computer Virus Emergency Treatment Center, the 15 apps that were notified are as follows: "Friends Tao" (version 2.4.1, 360 mobile assistant), "Value Less" (version 4.0.5, 360 mobile assistant), "Love Subtitles" (version 2.9.5, 360 mobile assistant), "Helian Health" (version 9.3.10, 360 mobile assistant), "Little Ape Mouth Arithmetic" (version 3.29.2, AZ Market), "Yunlian Health" (Version 3.1.5, Huawei App Market), Bonnie (Version 5.9.12, Huawei App Market), Easy Family (Version 2.5.13, Le Shop), Dentist Butler (Version 5.1.0.0, Le Store), Aurora Word (Version 2.5.6, Le Shop), Water Delivery Man (Version 5.3.6, Pea Pod), Quest Travel (Version 3.0.1, Pea Pod), Yi Xin (Version 3.4.7, App Treasure), Shift Assistant (Version 4.4.1, App Treasure), Smash Bros. (Version 3.1.9, Xiaomi App Store).

Among them, the privacy non-compliance issues involved include: not explicitly applying to the user for all privacy permissions; app began to collect personal information before obtaining the user's consent; failing to provide effective functions for correcting, deleting personal information and canceling user accounts, or setting unreasonable conditions for canceling user accounts; failing to establish and publish personal information security complaints and reporting channels, or exceeding the promised time limit for handling replies.

In view of the above situation, the National Computer Virus Emergency Treatment Center reminds the majority of mobile phone users to first carefully download and use the above illegal and illegal mobile Apps, and pay attention to carefully reading the App's user agreement and privacy policy description, not arbitrarily opening and agreeing to unnecessary privacy permissions, not entering personal privacy information at will, regularly maintaining and cleaning relevant data, and avoiding personal privacy information being leaked.
