The reporter learned from the district greening management department that the roof greening of the passenger bus north station located in Pengpu Town recently completed the construction work, with a total green area of more than 2600 square meters, of which the combined green area exceeds 1000 square meters and the lawn green area is about 1600 square meters.

It is reported that the roof greening is located on the third floor of the Passenger Bus North Station, surrounded by buildings on all sides, forming a "valley". Considering the original drainage location and sunshine situation, the regularity of the square grid is broken through the zigzag and meandering linearity, and a stool area is set up; both sides are planting areas, and the north side has more sunshine and more green area. The plant uses bright flowering plants to brighten the space, giving people a warm and bright feeling.
The district greening management department said that the roof greening creates a space with both privacy and openness, provides a comfortable and relaxing leisure environment for travelers, and acts as a green oxygen bar between buildings, reflecting the ecology of sponge city.
In 2021, with the joint efforts of the Jing'an District Green Committee and the member units of the Green Committee, the three-dimensional greening construction tasks set at the beginning of the year were completed, and a number of roof greening, window balcony greening, along the mouth greening, wall greening and other beautified three-dimensional space landscapes were built. In the next stage, Jing'an will continue to improve the quality of three-dimensional greening, innovate three-dimensional greening forms, and continuously beautify the living environment of citizens.
