SkyStyle has named its latest superyacht concept the Unico 71, and at first glance, the ship truly lives up to its name. The 223-foot-long ship has a completely unique wedge-shaped shape designed to distinguish it from anything on the water today.
The Italian design studio, which specializes in aircraft interiors, has teamed up with Denison to bring its first yacht concept to market. SkyStyle founders Max Pardo and Lucas Colombo met with Lauderdale's company at the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show and received support from Unque 71.
Colombo said in a statement: "Denison has shown great interest in this project and we want to add new value to the yachting industry."
It's not hard to see why this superyacht attracted Denison's attention. This triangular ship has an aluminum hull and superstructure, with smooth lines and a sharp bow that helps it paddle through the high seas. According to the Italian company, the ship will also be equipped with twin diesel engines and a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots.
At the same time, on the boat, the boat is characterized by wrap-around glass panels that will allow plenty of natural light to pour in while providing views of the surroundings. The transparency of each glass panel can also be adjusted to give seafarers more privacy.
With beams just 43 feet wide, the Unique 71 offers spacious living areas spread over four decks that can be accessed via a central staircase or elevator in the middle of the ship. The vessel can accommodate up to 12 guests and includes a master bedroom, a VIP suite and four cabins. There are also 9 cabins on the lower deck that can accommodate 17 crew members.
There are also plenty of dazzling facilities, including a 12-seat theatre, a glass-covered sky lounge, a billiards room and bar, and a landing helipad, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, gym and spa. Of course, the layout can be customized according to requirements.
