On the occasion of the Lunar Year of the Tiger, the exhibition of "Tiger" artistic and creative works of the "Tiger" in the Chinese Zodiac of the Year of the Hundred Tigers was exhibited yesterday at the Nanjing Folk Museum and the Nanjing Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Center (Qinhuai Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum). At the same time, the exhibition of calligraphy and painting works of the "Tiger" artistic and creative works of the Chinese zodiac was specially invited to be held at the Art Museum of Nanjing International Cultural Exchange Center.

This event is the theme activity of "Our Festival, Spring Festival", in addition to offline exhibitions, online works exhibitions are also launched through new media. The theme of the event was "Tiger" culture, and more than 500 folk art works from all over the country were received. After expert review, more than 150 works were exhibited, including 27 paper-cut works, 15 woven and embroidered works, 12 clay face sculpture works, 8 ceramic works, 12 carving works, 41 folk art works, and 38 art design and creative works. More than 50 works were exhibited in the special invitation of calligraphy and painting. These works are from arts and crafts masters, non-genetic inheritors and college teachers and students, formally integrating traditional expression and pioneering creativity, and making great ingenuity in the selection of topics, symbol conversion, material use, etc., which not only shows the simple and naïve beauty of "tiger", but also condenses the aesthetic philosophy of "beauty is life".
