In recent years, Nanjin Village has deeply implemented the strategy of rural revitalization, given full play to the advantages of ecological resources, and vigorously promoted the integrated development of agriculture and tourism, and the rural tourism industry is booming. Relying on the rural tourism industry, the characteristic fruit industry has achieved remarkable results, and the village collective economic income will be 1.2 million yuan in 2021.

Nowadays, Nanjin Village, as a rural revitalization demonstration village, focuses on rural tourism as the driving development, and has successively built special tourism points such as Shuizhuping, Guanyin Rock, Kiwi Ecological Picking Garden, Yellow Peach Ecological Picking Garden, etc., with rich tourism resources and broad development prospects. However, Xia Jianxing found in the visit and investigation that the current tourism infrastructure service supporting construction is still lacking, especially the level of traffic arteries leading to tourist attractions is not enough, taking the road from Nanjin Village to Shuizhuping Scenic Spot as an example, tourists need to walk another 10 kilometers of winding roads after taking the waterway to Lianwan Wharf to disembark. Tourists are daunted in the face of the village roads and rural roads that stretch upwards, and many characteristic attractions are raised in the deep and unknown, unable to create tourism value. In order to further develop tourist attractions and promote the development of rural tourism, it is urgent to upgrade the quality of highways leading to key tourist attractions.

Therefore, in order to further promote the development of the rural tourism industry and help rural revitalization, Xia Jianxing suggested that the relevant departments at the provincial level should focus on considering rural revitalization demonstration villages such as Nanjin Village, which takes the rural tourism industry as an important industry for revitalization and development, appropriately increase the indicators of tourist highway construction, and improve the infrastructure and services of rural tourism.
