Uniqlo parent company quarterly report: Theory and Comtoir des Cotonniers sales rise

On January 13, Fast Retailing announced its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal 2022 (from September 1, 2021 to November 30, 2021), in addition to its core brand UNIQLO, which still dominates total sales, the Group's global brand divisions, including Theory and Comptoir des Cotonniers and other international brands) sales rose and started to be profitable again.

Fast Retailing Group's revenue and profit in the first quarter far exceeded expectations. Revenue for the first quarter was JPY 627.3 billion, up 1.2% year-on-year, and operating profit was JPY 119.4 billion, up 5.6% year-on-year.
