Qingwei | good dog rhubarb

author:Qilu one point

Fathers loved dogs and loved to keep dogs. My family used to have three big dogs at the same time, including rhubarb.

Rhubarb is a wolfhound, dressed in all yellow fur, two upturned ears that flare up and down from time to time, and bright eyes that show its alertness. The fly in the ointment is that rhubarb has only a half-cut tail — it was bitten off halfway when it was a child fighting with other dogs. Rhubarb was not my dog, it was fed by my cousin. My cousin often came to my house to play, and every time he came to Rhubarb, he followed. When my father saw that the rhubarb was very fond of it, he fed it with steamed buns or something, and fed it every time. As a result, Rhubarb lai does not leave my house, even if the cousin pulls it home hard, it will still run back. So the cousin said to his father, give you the rhubarb, I don't want it, but you have to take care of my jug of wine. My father happily entertained my cousin. When they drank, Rhubarb lay at his father's feet and nibbled on the chicken bones that his father fed him. Since then, Rhubarb has settled in my home.

Father was very fond of rhubarb and carried it with him everywhere he went. When he went to work in the fields, his father shouted at Rhubarb, "Go! Rhubarb followed his father down to the ground. In the field, the father works, and Rhubarb plays by himself next to him. Hearing the crickets, Rhubarb sniffs with its nose and then scratches the crunch with its front paws. The crickets jumped up and fled, and the rhubarb whimpered and chased after it. Catching up, Rhubarb grabbed the cricket with its mouth, and then shook its head from side to side until the cricket stopped moving, and then Rhubarb put it down and went to find other crickets. Rhubarb saw a bird bouncing in the ground looking for food, it ran over to catch it, the bird flew away, and Rhubarb stopped chasing. Sometimes the bird seems to be deliberately teasing the rhubarb, flying stop, stop flying, rhubarb chase for a while, a moment tired and panting. Father always looked at it and smiled, then stopped what he was doing, lit a cigarette, called rhubarb to his side, let rhubarb lie down, and began to catch lice for rhubarb, while also letting rhubarb rest. At this time, Rhubarb was very enjoyable, lying on all fours, tongue outstretched, breathing with his mouth wide open, allowing his father to scratch at its fur. When my father was watching TV at home, Rhubarb would often jump on the bed and lie down next to his father. The mother was very angry when she saw it, saying that the dog was too dirty to let it lie on the bed. The mother scolded rhubarb and told rhubarb to get out of bed. However, Rhubarb just looked up and lay down again. The mother found a stick to scare Rhubarb, and Rhubarb reluctantly jumped out of bed.

Rhubarb is very humane and friendly to our whole family and our relatives and friends. Acquaintances come to our house, and rhubarb never barks or bites. When I was out of school, as soon as I got home, Rhubarb always wagged its tail vigorously, arched its hands with its mouth, and then stood up on its hind legs suddenly, and put both front legs on my body. I patted its head and let it leave me, but the rhubarb didn't seem to have kissed enough, and I refused to come down, so I had to pull its front legs off my body. Rhubarb also has the characteristic of never biting a child. At that time, my family raised chickens, and when my parents were feeding the chickens and collecting eggs in the chicken shed, rhubarb was going around in the chicken shed. Younger siblings often take a bunch of children to the chicken coop, and when Rhubarb sees them, he wags his tail and welcomes them, never calling at them. The family's cattle gave birth to calves, and during the day when they were herding in the backyard, Rhubarb would lie next to the calves every day and watch over them, never leaving for a moment. At night, Rhubarb lay guarding at the door of the cowshed, and whenever there was movement, the rhubarb would bark until his father saw it in the cowshed.

One winter, the whole family ate rabbit meat twice, thanks to rhubarb. There were two heavy snowfalls that winter, and the snow was thick. When my father took Rhubarb to play in the field, he saw a rabbit running in the thick snow, and although the rabbit tried its best, it still couldn't run fast. The father patted Rhubarb's head and pointed at the rabbit, and Rhubarb whizzed over. The rabbit sensed the danger and wanted to escape faster, but the thick snow made it difficult for it to use its skills. Soon, Rhubarb caught up with and bit the rabbit, and then it took the rabbit back to its father. This is the first time rhubarb has caught a rabbit. After some time, Rhubarb caught a rabbit in the snow again. Father's reward for rhubarb was rabbit bones and broth steamed buns.

Every time my cousin came to my house and saw that Rhubarb was so obedient, he wanted to take Rhubarb away, but his father did not agree. Later, the cousin bought a motorized tricycle in order to do business, and he wanted to take Rhubarb away and let Rhubarb take care of his home. The father did not agree at first, but could not stand the cousin's soft and hard bubbles, and the cousin also said that rhubarb could eat well in his family, because his father-in-law killed pigs, and he could ask the pigs to go into the water for rhubarb to eat. Eventually, the father agreed, telling his cousin to take a good look at Rhubarb. When the cousin took Rhubarb away, it took a lot of effort - Rhubarb refused to go with him. In the end, it was the father who tied the rhubarb to the motorized tricycle before the cousin took it away. However, what we did not expect was that Rhubarb did not look after the house at his cousin's house at all, and every day in addition to eating and sleeping, his body became fatter and fatter, like a lazy pig. Due to excessive fat, rhubarb quickly fell ill. My cousin took rhubarb everywhere to see the vet, but he couldn't save his life. When my father heard about it, he was sad for several days. In those days, my father always kept complaining to himself: "Alas, I am all to blame!" If I hadn't given him rhubarb, rhubarb wouldn't have died! Alas, blame me! ”

Now, I have two little pugs at home. Although his father also liked them, he often thought of rhubarb and talked about the benefits of rhubarb: "Rhubarb is obedient, but it is humane." Rhubarb never bites a child, rhubarb is a good dog..."

Yeah, Rhubarb is a good dog, and I miss it.
