From January 16 to 18, under the joint influence of the South Branch Trough and cold air, most of Guangxi had moderate to heavy rain, localized heavy rain, and the maximum rainfall was 86.7 mm in Anning Town, Jingxi County, Baise City.

The reporter learned from the Guangxi Meteorological Bureau that from the 14th to the 18th, the shadow departments at all levels in the region seized the favorable weather conditions and carried out large-scale artificial rain increase operations, and 42 counties (districts) in 13 cities carried out 67 artificial rain and hail prevention operations on the ground; 3 aircraft rain increase operations were carried out, flying for about 11.4 hours, and the operating mileage was about 2280 kilometers.

Under the joint action of natural rainfall and artificial rain increase operations, according to the meteorological drought monitoring on the 17th, the counties (districts) above the middle drought in the early stage have been lifted. Artificial rain increase has played a positive role in alleviating drought, improving soil moisture, increasing water storage in Shantang Reservoir, and helping energy and electricity supply.

The film departments at all levels in Nanning carried out artificial rain increase operations 12 times from the 16th to the 17th. The rainfall in the area covered by the operation is obvious, and the city has received moderate rainfall, and nearly 50% of the areas have heavy rainfall above the order of magnitude, which effectively alleviates the drought.

On the 18th and 19th, the rainy weather was intermittent, and the sun came out to warm the ocean. However, the low temperature weather in northern Guizhou continued, and there was ice or frost in parts of northern Guizhou and alpine mountains. Since the 20th, Guangxi has turned to rainy weather again. The Guangxi Meteorological Observatory predicts that on the 19th, the whole region will be cloudy. The minimum temperature in various places: -4 ~ 0 °C in alpine mountains, 1 ~ 7 °C in northern Guizhou, 7 ~ 12 °C in southern Guizhou.

Nanning Meteorological Observatory predicts that during the day on the 19th, it will be cloudy and sunny, foggy in the morning, and the northeast wind will be 1 to 2, 8 to 20 °C. The temperature difference between day and night is large, and it is cold in the morning and evening, so pay attention to keep warm.
