Le Xiaoyun's journey began in July 2021, starting in Khorgos, Xinjiang, and ending at Fengjie Home in Chongqing, covering a distance of about 4,400 kilometers. Counting the trip, there are only more than 200 kilometers left from home, and he will definitely be able to reunite with his family before the Spring Festival.
By the 15th, Le Xiaoyun had been on the road for more than half a year. The original purpose of his trip was simply to hone his temperament and change his own faults. And now, he feels that what is more worth remembering is the love and help gained along the way.
Beautiful to start with
According to Le Xiaoyun's own words, he was wild in nature, unable to sit still and unable to calm down. He thought it wasn't a good thing, and in order to hone himself, he decided to take a long trip on a whim.
Le Xiaoyun told Jimu News that he had thought about hiking and cycling, but he was afraid of his leg injury, and he felt bored driving by car, and in May 2020, he decided to travel on horseback. At that time, he once went to Xinjiang and was bent on buying horses, but unfortunately he did not make the trip because of the epidemic.
Throughout the year, the idea of horseback riding travel has always haunted you. In May last year, he came to Yili, Xinjiang, with the 50,000 yuan he had saved, and began to implement his own plan.
Local Kazakh friends were very enthusiastic about Le Xiaoyun, teaching him soma and horseback riding, and the children took him up the mountain to graze and bathe in the river, fresh lamb, and mellow milk tea. Le Xiaoyun said that in Xinjiang, whether it is the local humanistic customs or lifestyle, he has never experienced or experienced it, in addition, he has many friends. More than a month later, after a friend matchmaking, he bought a green horse and named it "hot pot". On July 1, Le Xiaoyun officially began the trip alone. Khorgos, Zhaosu, Gongliu, Xinyuan... Le Xiaoyun rode all the way.
"Blue skies, green grass, clear rivers, everything was beautiful at the beginning." Le Xiaoyun said that soon after the trip began, he went to the Narathi Grassland and stayed there for three days. Riding the "hot pot" in the grassland during the day, sleeping under the stars at night, watching the horses graze, bathing the horses in the river...
Out of the grassland, he set foot on the northern section of the Duku Highway, stayed overnight, and ran to Urumqi. Sunsets, distant mountains, grasslands, white horses... In the video that Le Xiaoyun originally shot along the way, Xinjiang was incredibly beautiful.
Ahbat
"Hot pot" was once a racing horse and was famous in Xinyuan County, Ili. Its torso is snow-white and its legs are dark blue. Le Xiaoyun said that this horse is called chrysanthemum green in the local area, and as it ages, the horse's hair will change from green to white. Recently, a Kazakh friend said that when the horses in Xinjiang go to the interior, they still have to have a Name of Xinjiang to feed them, so they helped to give a poetic name "Ahebut", which means "the journey of the white clouds".
Before the "hot pot", Le Xiaoyun also bought a horse, but friends said that the horse had a leg injury and it was difficult to adapt to the long-distance journey, so he had to sell it at a loss. By chance, he saw the "hot pot" that had just been changed for the hoof in the "bazaar" (cattle, sheep and horse trading market) in Xinyuan County, and he liked it in his heart, so he asked the horse owner for a price, but the horse owner quoted too high. After more than a month, he watched a lot of horses, but still felt that the "hot pot" was good, and he asked his friends to communicate with the horse owner repeatedly, which cost more than 30,000 yuan to take down the "hot pot".
"On the first day of buying it, I wanted to give it a Chongqing-style name, which is called hot pot." Le Xiaoyun said that before, he did not know how to ride horses at all, nor did he understand horses, but after he arrived in Xinjiang, he followed a local friend to learn now. On the first day of training, my ass was worn out.
When Le Xiaoyun told reporters about the trip along the way, the "hot pot" was grazing in the field on the side of the road, and saw a small ridge of cabbage and lettuce on the side of the field, taking advantage of the owner's inattention, it secretly nibbled on two bites. "Hot pot, you can't eat it..." Le Xiaoyun saw this and shouted in a low voice. The hot pot also seemed to feel the change in Le Xiaoyun's tone, and reluctantly left the vegetable field. But after a few minutes, it couldn't help but steal food. Le Xiaoyun stood up, pretended to be going to fight, and the "hot pot" ran away with his legs, looking back while running, and saw that the master was not chasing, and then stopped again.
Le Xiaoyun introduced that the "hot pot" is 8 years old this year, equivalent to the twenty or thirty years old of people, and the IQ is similar to that of a five- or six-year-old child, usually very naughty, but hungry, but spiritual. Once they were crossing a Dasaka, the rainstorm came, he wanted to pull the "hot pot" to go faster, but it did not go, he then turned on the horse, did not expect that the "hot pot" actually ran for five or six kilometers with a cigarette, until the rain was light. Only then did he realize that the "hot pot" did not want to leave, but wanted to drive him fast.
The journey is dangerous
At first, Le Xiaoyun thought that the road would be very smooth, but he encountered many dangers on the way. He had encountered problems such as food poisoning, wolves, cold snaps, and so on.
Le Xiaoyun introduced that at the beginning he was riding, but because the saddle was not suitable, the back of the "hot pot" was worn out twice. In order to make the hot pot recover, he walked with the hot pot and sent the saddle to the next destination. During this period, 25 kilograms of camping equipment were carried by him, and he hiked about 40 or 50 kilometers a day. In the two months of "Hotpot" recovery, he and "Hotpot" walked thousands of kilometers on foot.
"I hiked every day with weights, and I injured my shoulders and legs." Le Xiaoyun said that although he was very tired every day, he never thought of giving up, even if he climbed and climbed home.
In mid-August last year, Le Xiaoyun took the Duku Highway through Ulan Sad Daoban and encountered wolves. On the same day, when he was chatting with people at a station, the "hot pot" was suddenly frightened, and he asked the local police to know that there were wolves nearby, and he also bit a sheep a few days ago. In the middle of the night, he swept with a glare flashlight and found that there was a pair of eyes glowing on the nearby mountainside, and the "hot pot" was also constantly circling around the horse stake, very nervous. In order to prevent wolves, he has been guarding the "hot pot" until 4 a.m., and finally he really can't stay up, so he opened a small room, tied the "hot pot" to the door handle, and the lights in the room were not turned off all night, so that once there was a problem, he could go to the rescue of the "hot pot" at any time. That night, the sheepdogs of the nearby herdsmen barked all night, indicating that the wolves had been wandering around the neighborhood.
The most dangerous thing is "hot pot" food poisoning. Le Xiaoyun introduced that when walking to the vicinity of Shitizi Daoban in Hutubi County, Changji Prefecture, the "hot pot" accidentally ate drunken horse grass and could hardly walk, while the nearest township was 30 kilometers away, where there was a veterinarian. Before the town, the "hot pot" was dangerous, and he could only drag the "hot pot" away like a porter. He asked for help from friends, some of whom said that they needed to mix wheat bran with oil for the horses to eat, and some friends also introduced home remedies that if the dead drunken horse grass was lit to let the horses smell, they could detoxify.
"The smoke was like magic, and the 'hot pot' smelled for a few minutes, and sure enough, it was spirited." Le Xiaoyun said that perhaps the "hot pot" was not deeply poisoned, or maybe because it was physically strong, and finally after they arrived in the town of Sulfur Gully in Changji City, the "hot pot" recovered.
There are also sections of the road that Le Xiaoyun and "Hotpot" cannot cross during the journey. He said that between Hami and Jiayuguan, there are hundreds of kilometers of Gobi no man's land, and if he wants to cross, he must prepare hundreds of kilograms of hay and water.
Money that won't be spent
Although he could not take a bath for a month and a half at the worst time, and the coils on his body were only allowed to spend no more than 50 yuan a day, Le Xiaoyun felt that the purpose of this trip had been achieved, and the harvest exceeded expectations.
What was gained? Le Xiaoyun opened his backpack and pulled out a sheepskin with a map of China, and the blank space was stamped with a postmark, which was a mark of 4500 kilometers. Along the way, there are many kind netizens who learned that he was passing by, specially drove to find him, sent him dry food, sent feed to the "hot pot", and invited him to his home as a guest, and even some netizens specially drove hot water so that he could soak his feet and send bubble pepper wind claws...

She asked her friend to buy more than a dozen pounds of corn for the "hot pot" to eat, and also stuffed 300 yuan for Le Xiaoyun to make travel expenses, Le Xiaoyun did not want it at first, she forced it into the past, and Le Xiaoyun accepted it.
