Kung Fu Panda Film Producer is the head of Oriental DreamWorks Animation Studio and Chief Creative Officer

SHANGHAI, Jan. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Oriental DreamWorks today announced the appointment of Melissa. Melissa Cobb is the head of the animation studio and chief creative officer, and Ms. Cobb is the producer of three Kung Fu Panda films. Oriental DreamWorks is a joint venture between the Chinese Cultural Industry Investment Fund, Shanghai Culture Broadcasting Film and Television Group, Shanghai Lianhe Investment Co., Ltd., and DreamWorks Animation.

Ms. Cober will take up her new role on February 1, 2016, when she will work at the Oriental DreamWorks headquarters in Shanghai, where she will be fully responsible for overseeing and directing the creative direction of Oriental DreamWorks Animation Studios and the production of animated films, which will also be distributed and screened to the global film market, including China.
