You Yinglong criticized Tsai Ing-wen for wanting to recruit the "Six Capitals": there is an ugly ambition behind the pure face

Chen Maosong, a member of the Standing Committee of the DEMOCRATIC Progressive Party Central Committee, pointed out a few days ago that DPP Secretary General Lin Xiyao mentioned at the meeting that "Tsai Ing-wen hopes that the 'six capitals' will be personally recruited," which has aroused questions from the outside world. You Yinglong, chairman of the "Taiwan Public Opinion Foundation," said on Facebook today that a slap on the wrist does not make a sound, and without the main factions in the party to offer advice, acquiesce or echo, Tsai Ing-wen has no appetite and how strong her desire for power is; however, a seemingly pure face, behind which there is such an ugly and huge desire for power and domination, is really creepy and incomprehensible.

You Yinglong criticized Tsai Ing-wen for wanting to recruit the "Six Capitals": there is an ugly ambition behind the pure face

You Yinglong pointed out that according to media reports, the DPP will convene a national congress on November 14 to pass the 2022 nomination mechanism, and the current tendency to "six capitals" candidates will be personally recruited by Tsai Ing-wen, and the remaining 16 counties and cities will continue the 2018 special regulations, "counties and cities that have completed the ruling term" will adopt primary elections, "re-elected counties and cities" will be recruited, and "non-ruling counties and cities" will be recruited. Lobbying, the result is that among the 16 counties and cities in the "six capitals", only the three counties and cities of Pingtung, Keelung, and Hsinchu have to be primary, and everything else must be nodded by Tsai Ing-wen.

You Yinglong said that according to the DPP's existing "regulations on the nomination of candidates for public office," the system is quite complete, and the "six capitals" and the candidates for the heads of 16 counties and cities are basically communicated and coordinated by each constituency first, and the coordination fails to be achieved before the primary election, and finally decided by the party members or polls. But this system was frozen in 2018 when Tsai Ing-wen was also the party chairman, and the spirit of the new 2018 special regulations is to authorize the party chairman to be called up and the Central Executive Committee to endorse it, but even so, Tainan City also held a primary election in 2018; now it has become more intense, the "six capitals" are all recruited by the party chairman, and the Central Executive Committee is reduced to a rubber stamp. One of the key to the historic setbacks suffered in the 2018 nine-in-one election was the failed nomination special regulations.

You Yinglong said that when the democratic tradition within the party is endangered, why are the bigwigs of the dpp's internal factions silent? Why have most factions, including the New Trend, the Soviets, the Bulge, the British, and the Green Friendship Connection, remained silent so far? The "Six Capitals" and 16 counties and cities have more or less aspiring candidates sharpened their knives, why do they dare to be angry and dare not speak, only silently and without ambition to wait for Tsai Ing-wen's "caring eyes"? Apart from the fact that the DPP has willingly degenerated, its power has been fixed in one statue, and its collective corruption is only for enjoyment or fear of losing the so-called "value of governance," is there any other reason that dares to speak out loud?
