Therefore, this work is not easy for a folk painter. At the age of half a hundred, Yizhou was well aware of the difficulty of this project, but his determination had been made, so he was not afraid of difficulties and devoted himself wholeheartedly to this new difficult project. It took him more than a year to collect information on China's previous Olympic champions. Since 2001, he has collected information on 134 Olympic champions from newspapers and magazines, creating according to their sports, personalities and characteristics. He not only collected pictures and photos of various Olympic champions, but also learned more about their personalities, hobbies and other aspects. He knew the characteristics of the 134 Olympic champions very well before he began to write, and it was not until the autumn of 2002 that he officially began to paint for China's olympic champions.
In order to buy time, Yizhou put himself in a state of "madness" and extreme self-forgetfulness.
In the sweltering heat and steaming heat, he often went shirtless, threw away his arms and painted in the studio, staying up on the drawing table day and night.
His mother knew that he had the feat of painting an Olympic champion to present the Olympic Games, and she was very supportive of her son in doing so, but she also felt sorry for her son, and came to accompany him every day to paint, pour tea and water, and comment on her son's works with her own aesthetics in order to give him some reference opinions. Xuelian is even more distressed about her husband, and often boils some tonics to bring to the studio to nourish her husband's body.
Yizhou feels that every day there are two women who love themselves to accompany themselves to paint, and no matter how tired, he also feels refreshed, no matter how hard, he also feels sweet and happy!
He painted each portrait of the Olympic champion, and he also felt that there was something missing in the picture, and if each painting was written as a poem, the picture would be more literary and perfect. He also has to ingeniously embed the name of the champion into the titled poem, which will further highlight the Chinese of the painting. To this end, he consulted a large number of materials, carefully pondered, carefully deliberated, and wrote the most appropriate and best poetry into each painting.
The 134 pictures and texts of the Olympic champion's calligraphy and paintings have been done for seven years. After seven years of hard work, he recorded paintings from Xu Haifeng, who won the first Olympic gold in China to 134 Olympic champions before the 2008 Olympic Games, and fulfilled his promise that year. These seven years of hardship, others are difficult to know, only he himself is silently bearing, in these seven years, he has been crazy painting every day, almost became a painting fool.

After he finished writing, he threw away the brush, shook his head and danced with his hands.
