According to public information, in 2015, there were 74 domestic craft beer companies, and the number of craft beer companies increased to 293 in 2016. As of 2019, the number of domestic craft beer companies has reached nearly 2,000. After 2019, the high-end trend has increased significantly. The main thing about high-end is quality, followed by accurate market segmentation, then service, and finally continuous satisfaction of demand.

Although the craft beer market has developed rapidly in recent years, the domestic beer market is still dominated by traditional industrial beer. Industry analysts believe that domestic beer consumers are mainly young and middle-aged, and the young and middle-aged people of the previous generation do not have enough appreciation for beer taste when consuming beer, so traditional industrial beer accounts for more than 80% of China's beer market share. With the upgrading of consumption and the continuous improvement of consumer demand for quality and taste, there is still huge room for growth in China's craft beer market.
