Chinese and Japanese calligraphers and painters hold a "cloud pen meeting" to welcome the New Year

Cangzhou, 18 Jan (China News Network) -- On the afternoon of 18 January, the Cangzhou Yanshan Qiantong Cultural Research Association, the Japan Chinese Humanities Federation, the All Japan Chinese Calligraphers Association and other units jointly held the "Cloud Pen Meeting" for Chinese and Japanese calligraphers to welcome the New Year and send blessings over the air.

Wang Haichi, vice chairman of the Yanshan County CPPCC Committee and director of the Executive Committee of the Qiantong Cultural Festival, said at the opening ceremony that 2022 is the 50th anniversary of the normalization of Diplomatic relations between China and Japan, which coincides with the approaching Spring Festival of the Year of the Tiger in China.

Jin Ou, chairman of the Japan-China Federation of Humanities and Humanities, expressed the hope that with the power of culture, the common voice of the Chinese and Japanese peoples cherishing peace and friendship will be conveyed to the world, and good wishes will be sent to the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympic Games.

At the scene of the event, Chinese and Japanese calligraphers splashed ink to display their respective calligraphy and painting styles, and jointly expressed their good wishes for the Olympic Games and their wishes for peace, friendship and common development. (End)
