Act OfValor is a typical "American theme" Hollywood blockbuster. The plot is a traditional Hollywood plot (brotherhood, personal heroism). However, the shooting method is novel, the tactics are realistic, the equipment is rigorous, and the person is immersive, and the film intuitively shows the details of the SEAL unit and the SWCC (American Special Warfare Speed Boat Force).

The protagonist of the film is the SEVEN-man combat team of the SEAL Team 7. Three of them are cameos by real SEALs, which greatly improves the authenticity of the film.

39 foot river patrol boat, RPB

Previously known as surc small unit river boats by special forces, it is now used by the Navy River Troops, marines. Basic missions, defense against terrorist attacks, troop defense, including patrols, blockades, protection of high-value targets in berthing and navigation, port defense, coastal surveillance, joint operations. In the second paragraph of the film, two SEALs set off from the bottom of the sea in an SDV to dive into the somali mountains for reconnaissance missions, using telescopes, high-definition cameras, and sound collectors to observe the terrorists and successfully grasp the enemy's movements. But this mission is very dangerous, the terrorists are armed with M2 heavy machine guns, while the SEALs only have M4s, and once discovered, the M2 will be their biggest threat.

In the third paragraph, the U.S. Navy rounds up drug lords with seals. The long-haired drug lord rides on a luxury yacht and he is behind the whole affair. After an explosion, the Navy's speedboats surrounded the yacht, and the seals slid down from the Black Hawk to the yacht, eliminating the drug trafficking forces and successfully capturing the drug lords. It was learned from the drug lords that 17 mass bombs would enter the United States through the U.S.-Mexico border.

In the fourth paragraph, through intelligence, the SEALs know where the terrorists are located, and the SEAL troops choose to operate at night because of the advantage of night vision equipment. The commandoers used one-eyed night vision goggles. The gunners in charge of cover on the flanks used binocular night vision goggles. Here the seals wear heavy body armor, which plays a role later in the plot, and an RPG dud hits the seal's chest but fails to penetrate (compared to the soldier killed by the RPG in Black Hawk Down).

The line of the Mexican special forces commander here is very interesting, he does not want the Mexican version of the Black Hawk fall, the implication is not to cause political events, let alone to create a big conflict, to make a quick decision.

Fight fast. The two countries' special operations forces raided the armed strongholds of drug dealers where terrorists were hiding. Four members of the team guarded the door, others burst into the room to search, seals with god-like marksmanship, and various headshots.

Finally, in the most classic two sections of the film, in the process of chasing and killing terrorists, a terrorist throws a Russian-made F1 grenade, and a seal throws a grenade to protect his teammates, and presses the grenade with his body to die heroically. It's an adaptation of a true story based on Michael A. Monsoor, the hero of the Navy SEALs, who threw himself to a grenade during the 2006 War in Afghanistan to save three other members. In honor of this hero, the U.S. Navy's newest Zumwalt-class destroyer, Ship 2, was named USS Michael Monsour.

The other is where the sergeant major angrily pursues the terrorist, is shot by a bearded man, and several shots are still stubbornly returned with a pistol. At the end of the film, the sergeant major is not killed, but is seriously injured and sits in a wheelchair to attend the memorial service of his fallen comrades, which is also an adaptation of the real story, based on Douglas "Mike" Day - a member of the Navy's Second Special Operations Group, who was on a mission in Iraq in April 2007, and was shot by several militants' AK47 rifles when he entered the room, and was shot 27 times (body armor blocked 11 shots, 16 bullets hit unprotected parts of the hand, leg, abdomen and so on) , the rifle in his hand was thrown away. After waking up from his serious injuries, he took advantage of the militants' engagement with friendly forces outside the house and killed 4 militants with pistols. Then walk on your own to the helicopter that came to pick him up. Miraculously survived after emergency treatment. He was later awarded the Silver Star Medal.

The film ends with a classic Hollywood-style ending.
