At the wedding scene of Soong Ching Ling and Sun Yat-sen, Song's parents prostrated their sons-in-law with tears, what a deep meaning

On October 27, 1915, Soong Yao-ru and Ni Juezhen rushed from Shanghai to Japan to prevent the wedding of their daughters Soong Ching-ling and Sun Yat-sen. Although Soong Yaoru was a loyal revolutionary follower of Sun Yat-sen, the couple did not want their daughter to marry Sun Yat-sen, because Soong Ching-ling was flourishing at the time, and Sun Yat-sen was more than half a hundred years old.

However, when they arrived in Japan, they found that it was already the third day after the marriage of Soong Ching Ling and Sun Yat-sen, and the two were feasting on friends and holding a tea flower party.

Raw rice is already cooked to maturity. Song Qingling's mother, Ni Juezhen, looked at her daughter and burst into tears. Song Yaoru, who was a father-in-law at the time, suddenly knelt on the ground and prostrated three heads to Sun Yat-sen, and these three heads Song Qingling did not understand until many years later.

Song Qingling's mother, Ni Juezhen, whose father was a descendant of Xu Guangqi, a famous scientist of the Ming Dynasty, was one of the first families in China to accept Western ideas.

In Ni Juezhen's time, foot binding was indispensable for every girl. But Ni Juezhen has a pair of "heavenly feet". Only because Ni Juezhen was sick as soon as she wrapped her feet when she was a child, her parents said: "If you really can't do it, you won't wrap it up." ”

In that era when not tying one's feet meant that one could not marry out, Ni Juezhen's parents dared to make such a move, which shows how open-minded they are.

When Ni was five years old, her parents sent her to a private school, which was still a boy's patent. But Ni's parents didn't think so, believing that both boys and girls should be educated.

After graduating from private school at the age of seventeen, Ni was already proficient in mathematics, piano and English.

After graduation, Ni Juezhen did not look like a girl from someone else's house, the gate did not go out of the second door, embroidered in the deep courtyard. She entered the Tsubasa Girls' School and became a teacher. He also worked as a tutor in Sheng Xuanhuai's home.

Because she has a pair of heavenly feet, she can't get married at the age of seventeen, and the neighbors are talking about it. Her parents were very Buddhist and had never been anxious about Ni Juezhen's lifelong events.

Not to mention Ni Juezhen, who arranged her life very richly. She was a devout Christian who played the piano to the children in the choir every Saturday.

Ni Juezhen and Song Yaoru

One day in 1887, she came to the choir as usual to play the piano, and there was a big eye in the church crowd, and the short man looked intently at her playing the piano, deeply attracted by her piano sound.

The man was a missionary, and he was Song Yaoru.

The two young people fell in love at first sight and only spent two months together before entering the palace of marriage. In that era of "the fate of parents, the words of the matchmaker", Ni Juezhen, as a woman, had a free love.

After marriage, she did not sit at home to embroider flowers for a lifetime, but followed Song Yaoru around. Song Yaoru sometimes went to the countryside to preach, and Ni Juezhen would follow him.

Later, there were three sisters of the Song family and three brothers of the Song family, a family of eight happy and harmonious, every weekend, the family will always get together, Ni Juezhen played the piano, Song Yaoru with the children singing.

The Song couple is different from the traditional couple. At that time, they paid great attention to the companionship of their children, and also paid attention to the education and cultivation of their children. During the children's vacation, Ni Juezhen hired a teacher to teach English and ancient Chinese lessons to the children in the morning, and in the afternoon, Ni Juezhen personally taught the children to read and play the piano. The children's interests are very broad.

Once, Ni Juezhen asked the teacher to teach the three sisters embroidery, but Song Qiling did not like embroidery and often teased the teacher.

Traditional people are strict fathers and mothers, but the Song family is a kind father and strict mother.

When Ni Juezhen found out, she severely criticized Song Qiling.

But Song Yaoru was distressed about her daughter and said, "If you don't like to learn, you won't learn!" ”

Later, Song Qiling not only did not have to learn embroidery, but also like the Song brothers, was sent abroad by her parents to study. This made Song Aering one of the first female students in Chinese history.

Although the surroundings pointed out the advanced practices of the Song couple, the Song couple never cared.

Compared with Song Qingling's rebellion, Song Qingling has been a well-behaved girl in the eyes of her parents since she was a child, and she will never be criticized by her parents for disobedience.

Among the three sisters, she is the most stable, and after the eldest sister Song Qiling studied abroad, she has always been responsible for helping her mother take care of her brother and sister.

When the family was not very wealthy, Song Qingling never minded wearing the old clothes left by her sister. Even her private school teacher said: "Qingling is simple and loves beauty."

Perhaps because she is more carefree, among the three sisters, Ni Juezhen seems to love the second daughter Song Qingling more, and took a group photo with the second daughter Song Qingling. She is the only child among the three sisters to be photographed alone with her mother.

As a father, Song Yaoru's role changes particularly quickly. At home he is a loving father, but outside he has two identities. On the one hand, he was a missionary, and on the other hand, he participated in Sun Yat-sen's revolution in the name of missionary work, and became a loyal follower of Sun Yat-sen, wanting to save the country through industry.

In 1914, Song Yaoru participated in the dictatorship led by Sun Yat-sen against Yuan Shikai, and the revolution failed, so he took his family into exile in Japan.

At first, after Soong Aering returned from studying abroad, she served as Sun Yat-sen's secretary. Later, Song Qingling married, and Soong Qingling succeeded his sister as Sun Yat-sen's secretary.

At this time, Song Qingling had already fallen out of the woods, and she was steady and steady, which was very appreciated by Sun Yat-sen.

During Sun Yat-sen's exile in Japan, he lived in the home of his friend Umeya Shokichi. One evening in the summer of 1914, a party was being held at Umeya Trang Yoshi's home, when Soong Ching Ling played a piano piece, and Soong Ching Ling, who was in her early twenties, was beautiful and confident, and her piano sound deeply attracted Mei Wu's daughters, as well as Sun Yat-sen.

Throughout the party, Sun Yat-sen's eyes almost never left Soong Ching-ling, and Soong Ching-ling smiled at Sun Yat-sen with a different kind of emotion.

The Song family fled to Japan

All this was in Ni Juezhen's eyes, and since then, she has said that she will not let her daughter continue to stay in Japan, including serving as a secretary for Sun Yat-sen, but will take her back to Shanghai.

Knowing the daughter Mo Ruomu, Ni Juezhen's original intention was to strangle the budding feelings of the two in the cradle. Although they were also loyal followers of Sun Yat-sen, if they had to consider her daughter's lifelong affairs, she could not get over the hurdle in her heart.

In 1894, when her husband, Soong Yao-ru, met Sun Yat-sen and talked all night about revolutionary ideals, Soong Ching-ling was just over a year old. At this moment, her daughter has developed a male and female relationship with the person who has always called her uncle. As a mother, how not to worry.

After returning to Shanghai, Ni Juezhen asked to find a partner for her daughter, and quickly said a wealthy family with the surname Rong.

However, once the well-behaved girl of that year rebelled, no one was recruited. Soong Ching Ling asked his friend Zhu Zhuowen to help, and Zhu Zhuowen found a house for Soong Ching Ling near his home, and asked Soong Ching Ling to teach English to his daughter for three days a week, and in fact Soong Ching Ling corresponded with Sun Yat-sen during these three days to assist Sun Yat-sen in his work.

The two crossed the ocean, talked about the revolutionary cause, talked freely about revolutionary ideals, and their feelings became deeper and deeper. But where did she think about how anxious the mother on the side was for the happiness of her daughter's life.

03

The revolutionary ideals and her daughter's lifelong events made the mother have mixed feelings.

According to Ni Juezhen's youngest son, Song Ziliang, when they were young, their mother would take them to the archway to commemorate the Ming Dynasty's anti-Wu struggle and tell them: "We must serve the motherland."

At that time, the seeds of patriotic revolution had already been deeply planted in the hearts of the sons and daughters of the Song family.

In 1894, after Song Yaoru talked freely with Sun Yat-sen, he started printing in the basement of his home, which was printed on the surface, but the Bible was sandwiched with the words:"Down with the Qing government."

And Ni Juezhen helped her husband complete the binding work without complaint. Although Ni Juezhen's mother also reminded her daughter many times not to get involved in right and wrong, Ni Juezhen did not listen to her mother's advice once.

At this time, although she was worried about her daughter's relationship with Sun Yat-sen, she supported her daughter to participate in the revolution, and she did not know what to do in the dilemma.

In the autumn of 1915, after Soong Ching Ling and Sun Yat-sen decided to be together, she returned home and finally "had a showdown" with her parents. When her parents learned of her thoughts, her mother shed tears, and the things she feared finally came.

At that time, she and her husband Song Yaoru also expressed their attitude towards the relationship between the two, but the once well-behaved daughter struggled with reason.

As a last resort, Ni Juezhen offered to let Song Qingling marry the young man surnamed Rong as soon as possible, and Song Qingling was momentarily emotional and fainted on the ground. The family had to carry her to the bedroom and settle down.

On the night that Song Qingling fainted, Ni Juezhen and his wife had not slept all night, and they were discussing countermeasures. But the countermeasures were not well discussed, and something big happened.

At six o'clock in the morning of the next day, it was getting dark, and Song Qingling, with the help of her nanny, sneaked out of the house and prepared to go to Japan. As she was leaving, she glanced back at her mother's room.

According to Song Qingling's recollection in his later years: "I found that the curtains in the room moved a little, and my mother saw this scene at the window, but she did not stop it. ”

When the young girl who had just opened her love sinus was anxious to elope with her lover, she probably didn't think about how much pain her mother had inside.

On October 24, 1915, Soong Ching Ling arrived in Japan, and she and Sun Yat-sen held a simple wedding the day after their meeting.

On the third day after the marriage, Soong Ching Ling and Sun Yat-sen held a tea party in the living room of Meiwu Jizhuang to entertain guests.

But at this moment, Ni Juezhen and Song Yaoru and his wife came, and when Song Yaoru saw Sun Yat-sen, he suddenly knelt on the ground, prostrated his head three times to Sun Yat-sen, and said, "My daughter has entrusted it to you, please take more care of it." ”

When Father Song finished saying these words, Ni Juezhen's tears flowed down, and Song Qingling couldn't help but shed tears.

On this day, Soong Anderson and Sun Yat-sen held negotiations in their residence for five hours.

According to Song Qingling's recollection in his later years: "My mother cried and my father persuaded, but I still insisted on my choice. ”

At that time, Song Qingling was willing to be a moth for love, where to listen to his mother's advice.

Seeing that their daughter's attitude was so resolute, the next day, Ni Juezhen and his wife bid farewell to their daughter and son-in-law and returned to Shanghai. After returning to Shanghai, Ni Juezhen sent her bridal embroidery to her daughter. This carries the thousands of blessings of a mother to her daughter.

For the marriage of the three sisters of the Song family, in addition to Ni Juezhen's relative satisfaction with Song Qingling, Song Qingling and Song Meiling were not satisfied.

When Father Soong died and Song Meiling insisted on marrying Chiang Kai-shek, Ni Juezhen nodded her head in agreement, which almost became the root cause of the breakdown of the Relationship between the Soong sisters.

However, after marriage, Song Qingling seems to be very happy, and the revolutionary heart is also very firm. In a letter to a friend, she wrote: "It is enough when happiness surrounds all those around you who can live happily in a common desire." ”

Song Qingling finally reaped his own happiness, and Ni Juezhen, who supported the revolution and supported the salvation of the country, also accepted her daughter's interpretation of happiness.

In the days that followed, Sun Yat-sen and Soong Ching-ling continued to struggle toward what they believed to be happiness.

In 1916, Yuan Shikai's restoration failed and he ended up depressed. Sun Yat-sen finally returned to his long-lost homeland, and after that, he continued to lead the revolutionaries in their struggle to create the beautiful China of his heart.

Seven years later, Sun Yat-sen died, and the grief-stricken Soong Ching-ling wanted to choose a tomb site for Sun Yat-sen, when Ni Juezhen, who was more than half a hundred years old, rushed from Shanghai to Nanjing to accompany her daughter, regardless of the fatigue of the boat.

When many people were touched by the legendary revolutionary love of Sun Yat-sen and Soong Ching-ling, Ni Juezhen was sad in her heart, and what she feared finally happened, and her daughter would live a life of upheaval and displacement from then on.

Later, her mother became seriously ill, and Song Qingling, who was exiled to Germany, was afraid of being a trap in China to trick her into returning, so she could not see her mother for the last time. When Song Qingling returned home and found that her mother had really died, she cried for one night, which also became her lifelong regret.

"The son wants filial piety and does not wait" is vividly interpreted in her body. In the future, no matter where she went, she could only take the wedding dress given to her by her mother, and her apartment in Shanghai always hung an oil portrait of her mother, so that her mother was always by her side.

In 1937, the national War of Resistance broke out, the three Sisters of the Song Clan finally appeared in the same frame, in the face of the wanton aggression of the Japanese army invading China, the three Sisters and brothers of the Song Clan joined hands to speak out for the War of Resistance.

This picture seems to return to their infancy, when their mother, Ni Juezhen, tells them to repay the motherland under the Anti-Wu Arch.

In 1981, before Song Qingling died, she told the people around her: "Don't bury me next to Mr. Zhongshan, bury me with my parents and mother." ”

At this time, she understood that the three heads that her father prostrated in order to prevent her from marrying Mr. Sun were how deeply her father loved her and how heavy a trust it was.

Before she was born, the stubborn Song Qingling once made her parents sad for marriage, and after marriage, she did not take good care of her parents for the revolution, which caused her lifelong regrets, so she chose to sleep next to her parents and accompany her parents forever. She still made the obedient and well-behaved daughter in the eyes of her parents.
