Song Qingling was born in Shanghai as an industrialist, and his family wealth has a place in Shanghai. Song Qingling received a good education from a young age, and when he was 15 years old, his family sent him and his sister Song Meiling to the United States to study abroad.
Although Song Qingling was far away in the United States, she was still influenced by the Xinhai Revolution at that time, and she considered the Xinhai Revolution to be the greatest event of the 20th century.
In August 1913, the second revolution led by Sun Yat-sen failed, and Soong Ching-ling's father, Soong Yao-ru, had been secretly helping the revolutionaries and Sun Yat-sen to be very close comrades-in-arms. This failure led to the Song family migrating to Japan for refuge. Soong Ching-ling, who returned from studying in the United States, just returned to his home in Japan and happened to meet sun Yat-sen, the hero of his father's life. Song Qingling's father, Song Yaoru, also threatened to sever ties with his daughter on the wedding day, using this as an excuse to coerce her daughter to abandon the marriage. Soong Ching Ling still insisted on marrying Sun Yat-sen, that year was 1915, Soong Ching Ling was 22 years old, and Sun Yat-sen was already 50 years old, with an age difference of 28 years.

It can be seen that Soong Ching Ling was affectionate and elegant for Sun Yat-sen, but the good times were not long, and on June 16, 1922, the warlord Chen Jiongming and Sun Yat-sen had political disagreements, launched a mutiny in Guangzhou, and shelled the presidential palace.
At this moment of war, Soong Ching Ling asked Sun Yat-sen to take the lead in evacuating. This leaves behind the popular "China can live without me, but not without you"!
