The predecessor of Chunlian is the Peach Charm. At that time, the paper industry had not yet appeared, and people used peach wood boards to write the names of two gods or paint portraits of gods and immortals on peach wood boards to drive away evil spirits.
With the development of the times, people began to write auspicious words of blessing on the Spring Festival, which slowly evolved into poems for the battle. Of course, at that time, the Spring Festival, were all elegant things such as scholars and doctors and rich families, and poor ordinary people's families did not necessarily spend money to write Spring Festival during the Spring Festival. It is said that the promotion of the Spring League began with Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty.
On the occasion of the Spring Festival, the National Library of China selected rare books from the collection and selected 21 excellent and auspicious Spring Festivals from 15 kinds of ancient books and documents. Among them, there are the First Spring League "Sanyang Shibu", which was first seen in the "Dunhuang Testament"; the First Opening of the Four Orders", and the famous league "New Year NaYu Qing; Jia Jie Changchun" selected from the "History of Song", and experts also specially excavated the couplet "Nong Pei Six Symbols, Allowing Signs of Auspicious Omen" related to the year of "Nong Yin" from the collection of documents.
