Athletic: Liverpool will be looking to sign potential wingers this summer, with Nkunku, Bowen and others as candidates

According to The Athletic's Liverpool reporter James Pierce, Liverpool's main target this summer will be to reinforce the attacking line, and Enkunku, Thuram Jr., Bowen and others are all potential targets.

The report pointed out that although Salah and Mane have recently missed for the Africa Cup of Nations, Liverpool will not use the winter window to attract reinforcements, they plan to enter the transfer market again this summer, and are ready to start updating the attacking line. Liverpool want to replicate the Jota-style signings, bringing in young and potential frontcourt all-rounders.

The Athletic cited several players who met Liverpool's needs, including homegrown winger Bowen, who had previously been linked to Liverpool, the West Ham attacker, who was part of the same agency as Alexander-Arnold and Robertson, and Klopp praised Bowen in an interview. This season, Bowen has made 22 appearances in the Premier League (full attendance), contributing 6 goals and 7 assists.

In addition to Bowen, Liverpool's targets are Borussia Moncheng's striker Thuram Jr., Bruges' Noah Lang and Leipzig's Nkunku. In addition, Liverpool have seen Canadian striker David as one of the targets the summer they signed Jota, who is likely to leave Lille this summer, and Liverpool may chase the goalscorer again.
