At the beginning of December 2021, the 2021 Colorful Guizhou Culture and Art Festival kicked off with the premiere of the large-scale symphonic chorus "Zunyi Conference Suite Song". This symphonic chorus that integrates many elements such as drama performance, chorus, and flower lanterns integrates elements such as Guizhou national characteristic music and scene dance into the creation, vividly depicts the classic historical scenes of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army in Guizhou, and reproduces the magnificent course of the Long March. With a strong appeal of audio-visual stage art, in just 80 minutes, more than 300 people on the scene and hundreds of thousands of online audiences were presented with an art party lesson with profound thinking, exquisite art and excellent production, so that the audience could feel a strong patriotic heart and love for the party through literary and artistic works. "The creation of a large-scale situational symphonic chorus "Zunyi Conference Group Song" is an innovative exploration in the history of guizhou stage art." Director Wan Guangwei said.

The large-scale original musical drama "Beacon Fire Xian Xinghai", which tells the birth story of the "Yellow River Chorus", also appeared at the festival in mid-December, which was created and edited by the Southern Song and Dance Troupe, and has won the Outstanding Work Award of the 10th "Five One Project" of Guangdong Province, the First Prize of the 13th Guangdong Provincial Arts Festival, the 2016 National Stage Art Creation Project Key Support Repertoire, and the 2019 National Arts Fund Communication and Exchange Promotion Funding Project. It reproduces the glorious course of Xian Xinghai's use of music as a battle horn to devote himself to the anti-Japanese salvation movement after returning from studying abroad, and also shows the patriotic feelings of a generation of Chinese youth represented by him who have dedicated their youth and lives to national liberation.

"Colorful culture" is the background color of Guizhou, and it is also the most eye-catching part of this exhibition. In mid-December, qiandongnan prefecture's original repertoire song and dance poem "Cuckoo Spring" premiered. "Cuckoo Spring" tells the story of fashion designer Ah Cheng fell into a career bottleneck, until he followed the call of the cuckoo to Guizhou Qiandongnan, and accidentally met the beautiful girl Ami in the wax painting of the Miao batik painter, in the pursuit, the beautiful story slowly unfolded. "Cuckoo Spring" integrates elements such as ethnic music, costumes, and dances with the characteristics of Qiandongnan to bring a new experience.

As the only children's drama in this exhibition and performance activity, the multimedia fusion acrobatic children's drama "Animation Forest" staged in December is a dreamy, cool and thrilling "acrobatic art feast", which organically integrates animal images such as butterflies, frogs, swans, bears and acrobatics, and uses simple storyline and wonderful acrobatic performances to create happy, thrilling and exciting visual effects under the creation of brilliant stage effects such as sound and light.

Not only that, during the festival, the large-scale national dance drama "Zhaojun Out of the Plug" created by the China Opera and Dance Theater delivered a cultural feast of "a wave of red fur 'please go to the plug'" to the audience in Guiyang with beautiful dance posture and moving melody. The play is promoted step by step by the prologue "Beacon Smoke", one act "Harmony", the second act "Out of the Plug", the third act "Wedding", the four act "Ningbian" and the epilogue "Gongrong". The touching and heart-stirring story touched the audience. Audience member Wang Guozhang said that although "Zhaojun Out of the Plug" has no verbal performance, the drama portrays Zhaojun's various mental paths in the face of helplessness and suffering, home and individual in the face of helplessness and suffering, home and individual, and reflects the righteousness and courage of women in the face of the political behavior of "peace and affinity".
