Telegraph: Everton asked Mourinho about his intentions to coach, but was immediately refused

According to the Daily Telegraph, Everton asked Mourinho about his intention to coach after firing Benitez, but was refused.

Everton have officially sacked team boss Benitez, who are currently only six points ahead of the relegation zone. The Daily Telegraph said Everton approached Mourinho and asked about his intentions to coach, but the latter immediately rejected them as he had just joined Roma in the summer.

Among those who succeeded Benitez were Fonseca, Roberto Martinez, Duncan Ferguson, Marco Silva and Kovac.
