What excessive kindness brings - Movie: Dogtown

Dogtown is a very long movie that I watched at 1.25 times in between.

When I watched it, I was struck by the oppressive style of the whole movie as simple as a stage play, the whole design is a street with a line, a rowed vegetable field, an apple field, and a rowed house. A bed in the house is the hostess's shelter. The picture is only gray, the light replaces the daylight, there is no nature, there is no other color. The whole atmosphere is very uncomfortable and lonely.

In the beginning, people got along well and called each other friendly people. There are only six or seven households in the town, and the population is only about 20. At the beginning, it was created a rather isolated but simple dog town. Everyone accepted the heroine. The heroine also likes everyone, whether it is a person who is good or bad to her, she accepts everyone from the bottom of her heart. Help each other, have a salary for your daily work, buy things in town. People almost don't leave town. Only drivers who drive trucks to pull ripe apples to sell will go out.

Immediately after that, the police come to find the heroine, because the heroine is running away from home, dissatisfied with her father's gang, and she hopes to leave her father to find virtue. But as people learned of her kindness, and people felt that she was causing some trouble in the town, people gradually began to speak in a harsh tone toward her, questioning her intentions, and aggravating her enslavement. But in the midst of it, people didn't drive her away, and she hoped that the trouble she caused people could be forgiven. Her servitude grew heavier. Her body was also gradually unable to withstand labor and destruction. Her heart is trampled but she still longs to return to the days when she first came to Dogtown.

The man she loves, young and proud of his virtues and talents. There was no protection for her, just a sustenance of her heart. Until the end, he decided to call the heroine to restore calm to the dog town and prove that his position was in line with the people. As everyone knows, the cars he called and waited for were his gangster father and his men. The heroine and her father sat in the car and argued. Saying that her father was too arrogant, she left because she wanted to find the beauty of human nature. She had found the brilliance of humanity in Dogtown. Father asked her, if you did the same thing as them, would you do that? Do you feel unpunished? After the heroine hesitated repeatedly, she suddenly woke up. What he has done is well-intentioned and good-natured, and he has always forgiven the ignorance of others. But the cruel things that others did to her were the use of her kindness and the intensification of bullying after she repeatedly showed weakness.

When she suddenly realized the beginning and end of the matter, she decided to continue to be the daughter of the gangster father, and took up the power she had, shooting everyone else in the town except the dog, and burning everything. She personally pistoled and killed her so-called hypocritical lover. She left in a car with her father. It's not so much that she left Dogtown as it was that Dogtown left her and left the world.

When we blindly accuse someone of moral immorality, perhaps his evil is only one of the original sins of human nature that does not lead to death. It is understandable and forgivable. And when all the bad is reflected in the people in Dogtown, Dogtown should disappear into the world. That's why in the end Dogtown left the world.

The heroine's kindness and forgiveness for her bad behavior and words, and her flattering personality, allow the hypocritical veil of humanity to be exposed to reveal the ugliest face. Excessive goodness only leads to excessive evil. If you want to protect yourself, you must have principles and bottom lines. You can't always choose to forgive. You can't always choose to regress. No one will be like the heroine's father, as god exists, to give a bad breath to the wounded heroine. Finally seeing the ending, many people commented on it. But life is not a movie, only to protect yourself, not to let a kind smile become something that vicious people can use. Don't let evil run wild, stop it properly and learn to put on armor.
