Looking back on the more than half a year of intertwining bits and pieces, I suddenly feel that I have benefited a lot.
"Think of danger in times of peace, think of being prepared, and be prepared for trouble." Preparation in advance is related to the success or failure of the work, which requires us to have a precautionary thinking. There are many unstable factors in the work of public security organs, in the daily work of the police station, the situation faced by the police at the scene is often more complex and changeable than described by the command center or the police, which requires us to deal with the police must do a good job in advance preparations, such as for the specific police situation, arrange the number of police, carry the necessary equipment, and the division of labor at the scene, etc. Through a series of preparations, it is conducive to properly handling the police situation and improving work efficiency.
I remember the first time I went to the police, when the deputy director received an order from the command center that a traffic accident had occurred on a village road in the jurisdiction, and a person in the car was trapped. After receiving the order for pre-disposal, the deputy director quickly called out to me and an auxiliary police officer, quickly put on the police equipment with him, and checked whether the on-board first-aid equipment was good. After confirming that it was correct, we drove the police car to the scene of the incident. At that time, it was the eve of the Spring Festival, there were many people returning from the countryside, when we arrived at the scene, we found that a four-wheeled truck pulled another four-wheeled truck with a heavier tonnage overturned downhill, the driver of the front car escaped by himself, and the driver of the rear car was pressed into the cab because of the blind spot in the line of sight. At this time, there are already more onlookers on the scene, which has an impact on our early disposal. The deputy director immediately proposed a division of labor, and the auxiliary police opened a cordon on the periphery of the accident and drove away the crowd of onlookers. Since the driver of the front car had dialed the 120 emergency number, in the gap between waiting for the emergency personnel, I and the deputy director used the vehicle first aid equipment to carry out a simple hemostatic bandage on the injured person at the scene of the accident center, and constantly communicated with the injured person to prevent the injured person from falling asleep. After more than ten minutes of effective communication, the ambulance arrived at the scene, and I worked with my colleagues to assist the emergency personnel to carry the injured person to the ambulance and take them to the hospital for treatment. Although the whole process was a little tense, due to the full preparation, the police situation was still very smooth. In the police combat class, the instructor stressed that the daily reception of the police is a test of the police's ability to respond on the spot, but it is precisely this kind of on-the-spot response that requires the awareness and attitude of the police on the preparation of the matter, and only by laying a good foundation in the advance preparation can the public security work be done.
The daily work of the police at the police station is not a regular "sword and light sword shadow" and "life and death speed", and the grass-roots work is often carried out around the parents of the masses in the jurisdiction. But it is this so-called "small thing" that is related to the life happiness index of the people in the jurisdiction. I remember that Chinese New Year's Eve night in February this year, I was on duty with my colleagues in the office, and suddenly I received a police report from a man in a certain village who wanted to commit suicide after drinking, and the family hoped that we could come to the police to help. After I drove to the scene with my colleagues, I found that the man was shirtless, roaring and screaming and constantly wrestling with the items in his hands, the person was almost in a state of madness, and several relatives next to him tried to hold the man, and I immediately turned on the law enforcement recorder to intervene and separate them to avoid escalation. Through understanding, it was learned that the man was addicted to gambling and still owed a lot of foreign debts, his wife also left him, and the remaining two children were raised by him, and his life was more stressful. Just as his relatives sat around Chinese New Year's Eve night and ate Chinese New Year's Eve meal, he drank a lot of liquor. Under the influence of alcohol, the man broke down and thought of escaping reality in an extreme way. We separated the crowd and let the colleagues soothe the emotions of the man's relatives, while I was responsible for comforting the man and easing the tension.
When only I was left with the man on the scene, through a long exchange, I saw that he had a tough attitude and still did not change his mind. I pointed to the picture of the child on the wall and asked him sternly, "Have you ever thought about your child's future life?" It's easy for you to leave this world, but after the child there is no father! Because of your selfishness, they will hate you for the rest of their lives! Perhaps it was my words that stimulated him, or perhaps the effect of alcohol weakened, and before the words could be heard, the man got up and put on his clothes and said to me, "I want to start over, slowly pay off my debts, for my daughter, and for myself..." Turning around and returning to the room. After communicating with the family and confirming that there was no danger, my colleagues and I breathed a long sigh of relief. The interests of the masses are not trivial, and every branch and leaf is always concerned. To be a qualified people's policeman means putting the interests of the masses in the first place, doing the small affairs of the masses well, clearly understanding and understanding the responsibilities shouldered by oneself ideologically, being prepared to face difficulties and obstacles, and serving the people wholeheartedly.
From police academy students to police officers, it is not only a change of role, but also a whole life that we need to spend our entire lives to practice the sense of identity with the profession of police, and always maintain the purest original intention. Choosing to embark on the road of joining the police, such a life is solemn and sacred. Maybe I can't get out of this peaceful life, but I am still willing to become the guardian of the people, and exchange perseverance for the peace of the masses.
