Incomplete combustion sensor

(imperfect combustion sensor)

Sensors that detect incomplete combustion of burners such as gas furnaces and oil furnaces. Commonly used such sensors are color sensors, oxygen sensors and CO sensors. The color sensor is used to take advantage of the change in flame color when it does not burn completely. The oxygen sensor and CO sensor measure the change in O2 and CO concentration according to the phenomenon of decreasing O2 concentration and increasing CO concentration during incomplete combustion, and can detect incomplete combustion.
