Today, Beijing Guoan Club officially announced the appointment of Xie Feng as the first team head coach of Beijing Guoan Football Club.

Xie Feng was born in 1966, born in beijing youth training, debuted in the Beijing team as a player, and then played for Beijing Guoan Club and Shenzhen Club, and won a second place in the A League and two FA Cup championships with Beijing Guoan. As a player, Xie Feng was selected for the national team in 1996 and represented the Chinese men's football team in the 1997 World Cup Asian Top 10.

After retiring in 2001, Xie Feng served as assistant coach and head coach of the Shenzhen team. In 2011, Xie Feng returned to Beijing Guoan Club and joined the Guoan coaching staff. In 2016, Xie Feng served as acting head coach of Beijing Guoan in the middle of the season until the end of the season. In 2017, Xie Feng served as the leader of Beijing Guoan and the head of the Chinese coaching team. In 2018, Xie Feng joined Hebei and has served as assistant coach, technical director, acting head coach and head coach of the club.

Xie Feng is good at discovering young people, and has trained many outstanding young athletes when coaching Beijing Guoan and Hebei teams. In terms of tactics, Xie Feng's guidance pays attention to defense, set-piece tactics are changeable, and the on-the-spot command ability is strong.
