For 26 years, China Electric Power News has been like a close friend, giving me strength, giving me guidance, and letting me continue to move forward on the road of news publicity and literary creation.

At that time, I was on duty at a remote substation of the Huaibei Power Supply Bureau, taking 4 days off for 4 days. Because I was interested in writing since I was a child, I spent most of my leisure time reading books and newspapers. Once, when I saw a large stack of newspapers in the office, when I found that there was "China Electric Power News", I read it hungrily, and there were many new things that reflected what happened in the power supply department, and I felt very kind. I cut out the press releases related to power supply and the literary manuscripts in the supplements, pasted them on paper, and put them in a large book with plastic film prepared in advance, and carefully studied and studied them to improve my news writing and literary creation. Combined with what happened in the unit, write and submit articles to newspapers and periodicals such as China Electric Power News. Since then, in my spare time, I often write about the safety production work in the substation and the good people and good deeds that happen around me.

In 2002, I was seconded to the Publicity Department of the Huaibei Power Supply Bureau at that time, and my main job was to cut out the newspapers that published the news of our unit, and then bind them into a book and organize them for future searches. In addition, when I encounter good news leads, the head of the publicity section will also arrange for me to interview and write articles. "There are more and more "intelligent" labor models in the Huaibei Bureau" that I wrote was published in the 2nd edition of China Electric Power News on July 14, 2002. That was the first article I published in the newspaper of the "National Brand". At that time, when I saw my manuscript turn into lead characters, my heart was sweeter than eating honey.

In 2010, I was awarded the Commendation Order of the Party Secretary of Huaibei Power Supply Company. Ji Shujun, then secretary of the party committee of Huaibei Power Supply Company, wrote in the award speech: "While doing his job well, his spare time is almost all spent on his favorite news writing, realizing the organic integration of his own interests and key work of the enterprise." In the whole year, a total of 10 articles were published in the municipal media, 7 articles were published in the provincial media, and 31 articles were published in the national media, which made outstanding contributions to the establishment of corporate image. ”

In April 2010, our company established a press center. Since my manuscript was used by the external media more than other grassroots correspondents, I was recruited to the news and publicity position of the company's news center as I wished, mainly responsible for the company's news and publicity work. After becoming the special director of news and publicity, in addition to interviewing and writing manuscripts, I also helped grassroots correspondents revise the manuscript and publish it on the company's website; when encountering valuable manuscripts, I was also responsible for helping grassroots correspondents recommend them to external media. I felt a heavier burden on my shoulders, which undoubtedly inspired my enthusiasm for writing press releases, and dozens of articles were published in China Electric Power News every year. I also won the title of Excellent Correspondent of China Electric Power Media Group "China Electricity Industry" in 2018, and was awarded the advanced individual of Huaibei City's external propaganda work and the advanced individual of provincial company publicity work for many times.

"China Electric Power News" not only makes me like news and propaganda work, but also loves literary creation even more. With the help of the editors of China Electric Power News, in recent years, I have successively created and published a number of newsletters reflecting the advanced deeds of sending poverty alleviation cadres to help Jinzhai County's Jingangtai Village and the advanced deeds of national labor models.

I have established an inseparable emotion with China Electric Power News. When I retire one day, I will continue to submit literary manuscripts to the newspaper, which is our eternal agreement.
