Jin Jianxiao, Manchu. Formerly known as Jin Chengbin, no. Peizhi, pen name Jianxiao, Ba Lai, etc., born in 1910, from Shenyang, Liaoning. He joined the Party in April 1931. Famous novelist, poet, painter, playwright and director. He was arrested in June 1936 and bravely inaugurated in August of the same year.
On June 13, 1936, Jin Jianxiao, who was the editor-in-chief of the Great Northern New Newspaper Pictorial, was arrested during the "June 13" incident created by the Japanese, and he was imprisoned in the Special High Department of the Japanese Consulate General in Harbin.

In prison, Day and Night cruelly used torture such as cold water, hanging on the top, and kneeling sticks day and night, but Jin Jianxiao refused to confess. On June 21, 1936, Jin Jianxiao was escorted to the army prison in the pseudo-Third Military District of Qiqihar, where the enemy identified Jin Jianxiao as an important figure in the Communist Party and imprisoned him in a secret cell.
On 11 August, during the trial at the military tribunal of the pseudo-Third Military District, Jin Jianxiao still did not confess anything, and he said frankly: "If you want to try, you can try it, no one else is a Communist Party member, just myself." During one interrogation, the Japanese asked Jin Jianxiao, "Why are you adding the Communist Party?"
Jin Jianxiao replied boldly, "You have a country, and we also have national difficulties, so why don't we love the country?" Is patriotism also sinful?" The Japanese interrogator was furious: "Eight Grid Tooth Road! I understand that you are all bandits of the anti-imperial army! Let all of you fall to the ground!"!
Two Japanese thugs immediately came up and hoisted the golden sword, and a fierce leather whip fell on him endlessly.
According to He Zixiang, the accountant of the Heilongjiang Minbao, at that time, he and Jin Jianxiao and four others were detained in the prison of the Qiqihar Railway Bureau, interrogated and tortured by puppet Manchu traitors and Japanese gendarmes, and they were subjected to extremely cruel punishments: pouring cold water, pressing bars, hanging on the big hanging, pinching fingers, kneeling wooden trellises, tripping,, headshots, etc., after being awakened by cold water sprays, and tortured again. This has been repeated for more than a month.
Jin Jianxiao's teeth were knocked out several times, making it difficult for him to chew food, and every meal he ate was quite painful. He had to soak his nest in water and grab it in his throat with his hand, often choking to tears.
However, no matter how the punishment was used, Jin Jianxiao was always unyielding, assumed full responsibility, did not expose the party's relations, and protected the organization and comrades. Jiang Chunfang, an underground party member who worked with Jin Jianxiao, recalled: "I have an organizational relationship with Jianxiao, and it can be said that I led him, but he did not confess to me after he was arrested, and he maintained the moral character that a revolutionary should have."
In the end, the military law of the pseudo-Third Military District tried to execute Jin Jianxiao and 4 other patriots.
On August 15, 1936, when the enemy opened the cell door and told Jin Jian to roar out, he angrily stared at the enemy and scolded: "You traitors and lackeys, what crime have I committed to make me die?" It is truly the greatest evil that you have committed by surrendering and betraying the country, and Chinese people will judge you one day sooner or later!"
When the car pulled Jin Jianxiao and four other patriots to the execution ground outside the north gate of Qiqihar, he took off his glasses and walked with his head held high to the reed mat prepared to wrap their bodies. At this time, the guards brought several steamed buns and a bowl of wine for them to eat "death rice". Jin Jian slammed the bun off, grabbed the wine bowl and smashed it into the face of a Japanese gendarme shosa, and the gendarme captain hurriedly ordered the shooting.
In the midst of the evil gunshots, the golden sword roared up to the sky and laughed, heroic and righteous. Before his execution, Jin Jianxiao did not have time to say goodbye to his wife, and did not leave a last word for his wife and daughter, but he left us with immortal poetry and valuable spiritual wealth:
To endure the cold of winter is not a warm spring.
Through the dark web of the night, is not the dawn of the dawn.
As long as there is spring, as long as there is dawn,
Friends: Let's fight!
That is our common direction.
