Rivers Jr.: We may never see Simmons in a 76ers suit again

According to TMZ, Rivers Jr. recently said in an interview with TMZ that he may never see Simmons, a three-time All-Star, play for the 76ers again.

Sure, the Nuggets guard's father, Doug Rivers, has been trying to fix Simmons' relationship with the 76ers for months, but Simmons hasn't played a single minute for the team this season.

Asked about Simmons, Rivers Jr. said: "No, I don't think he'll play for the 76ers again. If he hadn't played for the team until now, then I don't think he's going to stay in the team. ”

Rivers Jr. said his father and team were already doing everything in their power to keep Simmons, despite Simmons' desire to be traded.

"They tried, brother." Little Rivers said. "Look how long this has been going on, I think they want to keep Simmons, but obviously he wants to go somewhere else."

Rivers Jr. eventually wished Simmons all the best: "I just want him to be happy. He's talented, he's a good player. ”

According to previous reports by TMZ, 76ers coach Doug Rivers has said he would love to get Simmons back into the 76ers.

So far this season, Simmons hasn't played a single game for the 76ers.
