Eternal Notre-Dame is a new VR experience developed by Emissive in collaboration with the Mayor and The Church of Paris to restore this extraordinary building of Notre Dame to its former glory through the use of immersive technology.
In this interactive VR experience, users can accurately reproduce notre Dame's appearance using HTC's Vive Focus 3 VR headset, which was meticulously crafted using high-resolution scans of interior and old images as a reference. Visually engaging simulations allow users to wander through the halls of historic buildings, explore rooftops, listen to stories of the original builders, watch glassmen install intricate stained glass windows, and discover the cathedral's many secrets.
It is reported that Emissive has carried out projects for Adidas, The Enemy and Mona Lisa: Beyond Glass, etc., and this time it is a VR experience for Notre Dame Cathedral that lasts for 45 minutes.

It is understood that "Eternal Notre-Dame" will open to the public in Paris on January 15, 2022, and will sell for $20. In September 2022, the VR experience will be moved to the main square in front of Notre Dame Cathedral, and Eternal Notre-Dame will open in the rest of the world in the future.
