In recent years, the chestnut canning industry in Tangshan has developed rapidly, and the annual output value of canned chestnuts has exceeded 3 billion yuan, and it has increased year by year. But chestnut canning companies and regulators are facing huge problems. Because there is no unified standard specification for canned chestnuts, some production enterprises formulate their own enterprise standards, but there are often omissions or lack of standardization, the quality of regional chestnut products is uneven, and the supervision of regulatory authorities is inconvenient, which also leads to the failure of Tangshan Zunhua, Qianxi, Qian'an and other places to form regional products of the same quality, high standards and strong competitiveness, which affects the healthy development of the industry in the long run.
In order to further promote the same standard, homogeneity and development of chestnut canning production enterprises in Tangshan City, promote the overall improvement of product quality, and solve the problem of regulating the industry without corresponding product standards, the Tangshan Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau actively communicated and coordinated with chestnut canning enterprises and industry food experts, jointly drafted and formulated the "Chestnut (Kernel) Canned" group standard, and repeatedly conducted parameter experiments and technical analysis on different manufacturers, revised the draft standard many times and extensively investigated and solicited opinions, and finally "Chestnut (Kernel) Canned" The group standard was officially approved and successfully approved by experts on October 19, 2020.
According to reports, the introduction of the group standard of "Chestnut (Kernel) Canned Food" will give full play to the role of standard guidance and technical support, further standardize the production, sales and inspection of canned chestnut products, and solve the dilemma of lack of standard supervision and constraint of canned chestnut in Tangshan.
