On the afternoon of January 10, 2022 Beijing time, the Volleyball Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport released the "Announcement on the Selection and Recruitment of the Head Coach of the National Women's Volleyball Team" on the official website of the China Volleyball Association.
The announcement said, "In order to strengthen the construction of the Chinese women's volleyball team and successfully complete the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, the 2022 World Championships, the 2023 World Cup and the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, it is planned to organize the selection of a new national women's volleyball head coach."
A leading group and an expert group were set up in the selection and recruitment work, and Chen Zhonghe, Lang Ping, Shen Fulin, and others became members of the expert group.
The announcement requires applicants to submit their application forms by 15 January 2022.
