During the reign of Tang Zhen (785-805 AD), Nie Yinniang, daughter of the Wei general Nie Feng, was ten years old.
One day, a nun was outside the Nie family's door, and when she saw Nie Yinniang, she asked Nie Feng, "Dare to ask The Oshiya (honorific title, the original meaning is "chivalrous soldier"), can you give this girl to me to raise?" ”
Nie Feng was furious and scolded the nun in a loud voice!
But the nun said, "If I let the abbot lock her daughter in the iron cabinet, I can steal it!" ”
That night, the Nie family did not have a trace of the hidden lady!
Nie Feng was horrified, and hurriedly ordered people to search around, but there was no trace!
Since then, every time the husband and wife think of the hidden lady, they are relatively speechless and tearful.

After five years, the nun suddenly sent a hidden lady and said to Nie Feng, "Your daughter has been well trained, take it!" "Say it, and you're gone!"
When the family saw Yin Niang return, they were naturally sad and happy, and asked her what she had learned, and Yin Niang only said: "Without him, just reading the scriptures and chanting mantras." ”
Nie Feng did not believe it, and repeatedly questioned her, and Yin Niang replied, "Tell the truth and are afraid that you will not believe it, how can this be good?" ”
Nie Feng advised, "But it doesn't hurt to say it." ”
Cain Niang said this:
"At first I was asked by the nun to walk, and I don't know how many miles I had traveled, but after dawn I came to a large empty stone cave, which was uninhabited, there were many apes, and there were dense pines growing everywhere.
"There are two girls in the cave, also in their teens, born bright and lovely. They do not eat on weekdays, and they can fly on cliffs and cliffs, climbing trees as quickly as apes, without missing a beat.
"The nun later gave me a pill, and made me chase the two women with a two-foot-long sword, and then I gradually felt as light as the wind!" This two-foot sword is extremely sharp - blowing hair is broken!
"After a year, I can stab the ape with my sword, without fail, and then I will assassinate the tiger and the leopard, and I will be able to return with my head down." After three years, I can take off and fly, sword and hit the eagle falcon in the air, all of them! At this time, the two-foot long sword had been worn to five inches! Birds and beasts meet me, and there is no return!
"In the fourth year, the nun continued to leave the two women to practice in the cave, led me into an unknown town, pointed to a man, counted his guilt, and finally commanded: 'Take his head and come here, so that no one will be aware!'" It should be as easy as a bird flapping its wings and flying! ’
"After saying that, he handed me a three-inch-long croissant dagger, and I stabbed the man to death in broad daylight in the street!" Before anyone could react, I had put his head in his bag and left. After returning to the master's residence, sprinkle the medicine, and the head immediately turns into pus!
"Five years later, the nun commanded, 'A certain high official was guilty and killed several people for no reason.' You sneak into his residence overnight and take his head back! ’
"That night, I rushed to his official office with a dagger, flashed through the crack in the door, traveled unimpeded all the way, and finally fell on the beam of the house, and did not return with the first rank until dawn.
"The nun was furious and asked in a loud voice, 'Why is it so late?'
"I replied, 'Seeing that this high-ranking official was playing with a child, the scene was very cute, and I couldn't bear to do it for a while.'"
"The nun reprimanded: 'In the future, when you encounter such a situation, first kill the child, cut off his love, and then kill himself!' I had to thank you.
"And the nun said, 'Let me open the back of your head, and then hide the dagger in it, and take it as you please, and you will be unharmed!' After a pause, he said, 'You've done your job and you can go home.' Finally, he exhorted: Twenty years from now, we will see each other again! ”
Nie Feng listened to his daughter's narration, and his heart was very frightened, and he saw that Yin Niang disappeared at night, and only returned after dawn, although he did not dare to question his daughter, but his heart no longer loved Yin Niang as much as before.
One day, when The Hidden Lady saw a young man passing by the door of the house, she said to her father, "This man can be my husband." Nie Feng did not dare not comply, so he married his daughter to the mirror-grinding teenager.
This teenager is extraordinary: there is nothing else he can do but polish the bronze mirror!
After getting married, the two lived in the outer house, and Nie Feng provided them with food and clothing, which was very rich.
A few years later, Nie Feng died.

Wei Shuai had already heard of Nie Yinniang's superb martial arts, so he used Jin Shuai to hire her as his right and left officials.
During the Yuan He period (806 -820 AD), Wei Shuai was at odds with Liu Changyi (752 -813 AD), a famous general of the Tang Dynasty, who was given the title of "Right Servant") and sent Nie Yinniang to take his first rank!
This Liu Chang was a man of high spiritual ability: he had already known in advance when The Hidden Lady bid farewell to Wei Shuai, so he summoned a general of the family (generally referring to a low-ranking officer) and ordered him to stay in the north of the city early the next morning to wait for a couple riding a black and white donkey.
The next morning, ya will indeed see a couple riding black and white donkeys in the north of the city, when passing the city gate, a magpie is shouting in front of them, the husband took the slingshot to shoot, but did not shoot, the wife grabbed the slingshot, a hit, the magpie immediately fell to the ground and died!
Nie Yinniang then saluted General Ya and said, "I am waiting for a long way to come and see Liu Shujie." ”
She was received with normal courtesy.
Nie Yinniang said, "Liu Shuzhao is indeed a divine man, otherwise, how could he predict that I would be waiting?" Allow me to see Liu Shujie! ”
In his heart, he did not know the prophet of Liu Changyi, and he also sent someone to greet him, which was quite obedient!
After Liu Changyi came out, the Yinniang couple thanked them and said, "I have failed Liu Shujie, and I deserve to die!" ”
Liu Changyi said, "This is not the case, for each person has his own master, and it is the common sentiment of man." Wei Shuai is no different from me, but I want to leave you with a heavy responsibility, please don't be suspicious. ”
Yin Niang knew that Wei Shuai was far inferior to Liu Changyi, so she thanked her and said, "Seeing that there is no one to protect the servants left and right, I am willing to abandon Wei Shuai and loyally assist a person like you who is a god!" ”
Liu Changyi asked her for remuneration, and Yin Niang only said, "It is enough to give us two hundred yuan a day!" ”
Liu Changyi then relied on Nie Yinniang.
After everything was discussed, the black and white donkey that the two were riding suddenly disappeared, and Liu Changyi was busy sending people to look for it, but he didn't know where he was! Later, it was found that the black and white donkey had turned into a paper donkey and was stored in a cloth bag by the hidden lady!

After more than a month, Nie Yinniang made a suggestion to Liu Changyi:
"Wei Shuai doesn't know that I have stayed, I will send someone to inquire, tonight please cut a strand of hair, tied with a red silk, I will send it to Wei Shuai's pillow, as a way to show that I do not want to return."
Liu Changyi followed the advice.
After four o'clock that night, Nie Yinniang returned from outside and said:
"The letter has been delivered, and in the middle of the night tonight, Wei Shuai will send an assassin named Jingjing'er to assassinate me, and he will cut off your head!" But don't worry: I'm plotting how to kill this elf! ”
Liu Chang was known as an open-minded and generous person, and after listening to it, he had no fear on his face. ’‘
That night the lights were bright, and after midnight, I saw two banners, one red and one white, constantly fluttering and hitting each other in the corner of the bed, and after a long time, I suddenly saw a person falling from the sky, and fixed my eyes on it: This person has a different head!
Nie Yinniang then appeared and said, "The sperm is dead!" After saying that, he immediately dragged the body of the sperm into the hall, and after sprinkling the medicine, the body instantly turned into pus, and there was not even a trace of hair left!
After everything was properly disposed of, The Hidden Lady asserted:
"In the middle of the night, the magic hand is coming empty, and this empty magic, people are unaware of ghosts, coming and going without a trace. The hidden lady's spell can only look at her back, so whether you can escape this fate depends on your blessing: please wrap a piece of Khotanese jade around your neck, cover the futon, and I will turn into a midge to sneak into your intestines and wait for the opportunity. No one in the family has to escape! ”
According to his words, Liu Changyi arranged them one by one.
In the night of Sanjing (here should be the next night), when Liu Changyi was sleeping and his eyes were hazy, he suddenly heard a sonorous ringing of his neck, and the sound was very loud, and the hidden lady immediately drilled out of Liu Changyi's mouth and congratulated:
"Liu Servant's shot is unharmed, this empty space comes and goes in a hurry, like a well-built bird, if it doesn't hit a fight, it will only fly away, and it won't take a change, it will already fly thousands of miles away!"
I looked at the Khotanese jade on Liu Changyi's neck again: there were traces of a dagger on the surface, and the scratches were very deep!
Liu Changyi escaped the disaster and sent someone to send a generous gift to Nie Yinniang and his wife.

In the eighth year of Yuan He, Liu Changyi came to Beijing from Xuchang to see him, and Yinniang did not want to follow, saying goodbye: "I plan to travel all over the mountains and rivers from now on, visit the sages, and please send my husband a fictitious job to earn a living." ”
Liu Changyi agreed, and after arriving in the capital, he gradually lost the news of The Hidden Lady.
Liu Changyi later died in the army, and YinNiang rode a donkey to the Capital Division to cry, and the whole person fell in front of the coffin and wept bitterly.
In the Kaicheng period (836 - 840 AD), Liu Chang's son Liu Zhongren was the assassin of Lingzhou, and when he was passing through the Shudi Trail, he suddenly saw Nie Yinniang riding a white donkey slowly: the years were hurried, but the yinniang still looked the same!
Seeing each other, the two were very happy.
Yin Niang finally admonished Liu Zhong: "Lang Jun has had a major disaster recently, and he should not come here!" ”
After saying that, he took out a pill, persuaded Liu to take it, and finally instructed: "In the next year, quickly abandon the official and return to Luoyang, so that you can avoid this disaster!" The pills I give you can only keep you free for a year! ”
Liu Zhong sent some colorful draperies to The Hidden Niang, but the Hidden Niang did not accept it, and finally drifted away, like a god.
Afterwards, Liu Zhong did not take Yinniang's advice seriously: after a year, he still became an official as usual, and soon after, he died suddenly in Lingzhou!
Since then, there have been no more rumors of Nie Yinniang's appearance in the world.
Brief comment: This Tang Dynasty story "Nie Yinniang", the plot is strange and absurd, some people think that it created the pioneer of Chinese martial arts novels, laying the foundation for future generations of female heroine novels.
About the "Mirror Mill Boy": Some people think that he is actually a woman in men's clothing, because "Grinding Mirror" in ancient times referred to the love between women.
