Entry-level discrete graphics, NVIDIA released RTX 3050

NVIDIA unveiled a number of new products at the CES 2022 special event, including a new desktop graphics card, such as the desktop RTX 3050, in addition to the RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU for mobile platforms.

As an Ampere architecture desktop low-end graphics card, the RTX 3050 uses a GA106-150 core processor and 8GB of 128-bit GDDR6 video memory. Specifically, it includes 2560 CIDs, allowing players to get more than 60FPS per second experience at 1080P resolution when running mainstream games, while equipped with the second generation of RT Core for ray tracing and the third generation of Tensor Core for DLSS and AI, which can provide players with a threshold to enter the light chasing technology.

In terms of scale, the RTX 3050 is much worse than the RTX 3060, so its performance and positioning are estimated to be much lower than the RTX 3060. Of course, considering the current market, the supply of graphics cards is the core issue that players are concerned about.
