There was once a craftsman who blatantly falsified in front of the Qianlong Emperor, and the fake results were exhibited in the Forbidden City for more than 200 years, and no one found anything wrong until modern times. Nowadays, this fake result is located outside the Huangji Gate in the Ningshou Palace District of the Forbidden City, and tourists who visit the Treasure Hall of the Forbidden City can basically see it.
The word "Ningshou" means good when you hear it, but during the Ming Dynasty, this was only a place for some concubines to retire, and there were a few scattered palaces. Nine Dragon Wall, as the name suggests, there are 9 dragon shadow walls on it, in ancient times the emperors are real dragon Tianzi, ordinary people's shadow walls may be flowers and grasses, but Qianlong residence can not be so "small family temperament".
Every dragon on the Nine Dragon Wall looks lifelike, especially the yellow dragon in the middle, which is majestic and domineering, representing the nine-five-year-old. However, there is a white dragon on the Nine Dragon Wall with an incorrect belly color, as long as you look closely, you can find that the color of this "glass brick" is obviously darker than the rest of the dragon's body, as if it has faded.

It is said that the name of this counterfeit craftsman was Ma Dechun, and he rushed to work with other craftsmen that year, but the Qianlong Emperor gave a short construction period, although they worked day and night, carefully, there were accidents.
A craftsman broke the white glass on the belly of the white dragon. Firing glass is a delicate job, you need to control the heat, etc., it takes a long time to burn the right color of glass, but now if you add another piece, the time is too late. At that time, the Qianlong Emperor "was angry with the son of heaven and ambushed millions of corpses", and the craftsmen could not survive.
Madchun was in a hurry and replaced the part with white-painted nan wood, and other craftsmen praised him for his cleverness and agreed to keep the secret. As a result, the people who came to the acceptance really did not see anything wrong, and the Qianlong Emperor did not notice this detail. It was not until modern people discovered that the glazed bricks had "faded", and the truth behind this fraudulent achievement surfaced.
If you encounter a good weather, you go to the Forbidden City to visit the colorful glass dragon, you may feel that when the light is cast on the dragon, each dragon is "alive", and the ingenuity and skill of China's ancient craftsmen are fully displayed. Probably the Qianlong Emperor himself could not have imagined that there were people under tianzi's eyes who dared to play this kind of trick. But this did not reduce the value of the Nine Dragon Wall, even if it was slightly flawed, it was still a legendary treasure that was unparalleled in the world.
