Super-large lead and zinc deposits in Pig Gongtang, Hezhang County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. The super-large lead and zinc deposit of Pig Gongtang is located in the southwest of Hezhang County, 213 degrees, about 11 kilometers away from Hezhang County, and the deposit is located in the area from Pig Gongtang Village to Shuichaobao in Shuitangbao Township, Hezhang County. In 2002, Hezhang Dingshengxin Mining Co., Ltd. obtained the right to explore the mine in Pig Gongtang, entrusted the Sixth Geological Brigade of shandong Geological and Mineral Exploration and Development Bureau to carry out general ore search, after more than ten years of continuous exploration, in April 2014, 11 industrial ore bodies were discovered, achieving a breakthrough in prospecting. Subsequently, it was transferred to the detailed geological work, and by April 2018, the detailed investigation was completed, and an ultra-high-grade, ultra-large lead and zinc deposit was submitted, rewriting the history of no super-large lead and zinc deposits in Guizhou Province.
The strata of the mining area mainly include The Silurian, Devonian, Carboniferous, Permian and Triassic strata, and the lead and zinc ore bodies in the mining area are mainly produced in the Strata of the Devonian Middle Dushan Formation to the Permian Middle Maokou Formation, and the ore-holding rocks are dolomite, dolomitic limestone, limestone and marl. In the carbonate rocks in the formation above the Maokou Formation, the occurrence of ore bodies is not seen.
The structure is the main control factor of lead and zinc deposits in the mining area, and the structure has the characteristics of hierarchical control of mineral forming tools. The structure in the mining area is roughly divided into north-west tectonic belt and north-east tectonic belt. The north-west structure is mainly dominated by the Yadu-Ziyun fault zone, and the exposed faults in the mining area include the reverse fault of cinnabar plant, the reverse fault of rooster village, and the reverse fault of Pig Gongtang. The north-east structure consists of a series of north-east fold groups and torsional fractures of varying sizes, accompanied by tensile faults perpendicular to the trunk structure, forming a left column "polygraphic" structure. The lead and zinc ore bodies and mineralization points in the mine area are exposed at the site of the reverse fault.
The ore body of the deposit is produced in the inverse fault fracture zone, and its burial depth is generally 500-900m, the direction is longer than 1600m, the direction is 280-310 degrees, the tendency is south-west, the inclination angle is generally 28-57 degrees, the thickness of the ore body is generally 0.95-67.01m, the average thickness is 11.01m, the lead grade is 0.1-11.03%, and the zinc grade is 0.06-40.02%. Lead, zinc and silver grades were positively correlated in depth, and zinc grades were greater than lead grades. In 2018, 69 lead and zinc ore bodies were delineated, with proven lead and zinc metal resources of 2.7582 million tons, an average grade of 2.38% lead and an average grade of 7.56% of zinc, of which the main ore body was 1640m long, the average thickness was 11.01m, and the amount of lead and zinc resources was 1.8192 million tons, accounting for 65.96% of the total resources. In 2014, the deposit was divided into three sections, namely the cinnabar plant section, the White Rock Head mine section, and the Shuichaobao mine section. At that time, 4 ore bodies were found in the cinnabar plant section.
I. orebody, 260m long, orebody to north-east, inclined to 300 degrees north-west, orebody inclination 13 degrees, average thickness of 1.13m, orebody in layered output, lead average grade of 2.25%, zinc average grade of 6.15%.
Ii. orebody, ore body length 290m, ore body to north-east, inclined north-west 294 degrees, ore body inclination of 13 degrees, average thickness of 1.38m, orebody is layered output, lead average grade of 0.36%, average grade of zinc 5.68%.
IV. orebody, the ore body is about 20m long, the ore body is north-east, tending to north-west 294 degrees, the orebody inclination is 21 degrees, the average thickness is 1.54m, the orebody is layered, the average grade of lead is 7.48%, and the average grade of zinc is 4.02%.
The metal minerals of the deposit mainly include galena, sphalerite, diamond zinc ore, pyrite and so on.
The main chalcogenous minerals are dolomite, calcite, clay or aquamine and quartz.
The ore structure mainly includes automorphic -semi-autoform structure, other-shaped structure, phase embedded structure, and deconstructed dissolution structure.
Ore structure mainly includes dip-dye structure, breccia structure, fine vein structure, block structure, soil structure and so on.
The alteration of the surrounding rock of the deposit mainly includes iron manganese carbonate, limonite mineralization, dolomite petrochemical, pyrite mineralization, and heavy crystal petrochemical.
In 2019, the lead and zinc ore volume of (111b+122b+333) submitted by Pig Gongtang Lead and Zinc Mine was 36.4883 million tons, 92 major ore bodies were delineated, the average grade of lead and zinc was 10%, and the total resources of lead and zinc metals were estimated to be 3.2744 million tons (111b+122b+333).
