Mu Ying was a founding general of the Ming Dynasty and the adopted son of Zhu Yuanzhang, the ming emperor, and a native of Dingyuan, Haozhou, born in 1344. Died in 1392 AD.
Mu Ying's life was very poor when he was young, and their family was just a poor family in Dingyuan County. Later, when his father died early, the young Mu Ying could only rely on his mother for his life, and his life became more and more difficult. How did such an ordinary birth be associated with Ming Taizu and adopted as an adopted son by Zhu Yuanzhang?

In the eleventh year of Zhengzheng, the Red Turban Army revolt broke out in the Jianghuai region and began to oppose the dark rule of the Yuan Dynasty. Faced with a peasant uprising, the Yuan government quickly sent troops to suppress it. The fighting between the Red Turban Army and the Yuan Army caused the local people to be affected by the war and displaced. As the war became more and more intense, in order to escape the war, Mu Ying and his mother began to flee for a life. Unfortunately, before the mother and son came to safety, his mother died on the way to escape, and after that, only Xiao Muying was left in the world.
Twelve years later, Mu Ying fled alone to Haozhou City, where the rebel army led by Zhu Yuanzhang was also here. Zhu Yuanzhang and his wife had no children under their knees at that time, so they appointed Mu Ying as a righteous son, and after that, Mu Ying changed his surname to Zhu and has been living around Zhu Yuanzhang and his wife. Zhu Yuanzhang had many sons, most of whom were adopted during this period.
Mu Ying was young at the time, so he was carefully cared for by Zhu Yuanzhang and his wife, and treated him like his own parents. Not only did he teach Mu Ying to read and write, Zhu Yuanzhang also took him with him, teaching him to lead soldiers to fight and military strategy. Mu Ying spent his childhood in wars, barracks, and expeditions.
Since childhood, he followed Zhu Yuanzhang's side, lived a military life, and naturally learned a lot of military knowledge under the march and war. When he grew up young, he began to lead his troops to the battlefield independently.
In the 22nd year of Zhengzheng, Mu Ying began to lead troops to fight, initially as a lieutenant in front of the tent, participating in the battle of Zhenjiang, and later because of Gong Ti as a command envoy, guarding the important town of Guangxin in Jiangxi.
In the 27th year of Zhengzheng, he occupied Chong'an and attacked the Eighteen Villages of Minxi. When the town guarded Jianning, it controlled the provinces under Fujian.
In the third year of Hongwu, Mu Ying was promoted to the general of Zhenguo, participated in the affairs of the Metropolitan Governor's Office, and was promoted to the Governor's Mansion tongzhi in four years, and was in charge of the world's soldiers and horses. Mu Ying was already deeply respected by Zhu Yuanzhang, and during his tenure in the Metropolitan Governor's Office, he was praised several times by Zhu Yuanzhang for his decisive handling.
In the ninth year of Hongwu, Mu Ying was ordered by Zhu Yuanzhang to train soldiers and horses, and it was not long before he accompanied Deng Yu to conquest Tubo. Under the leadership of the two men, the Ming army attacked the Sichuan-Tibet region all the way, and the army fought all the way to the Kunlun Mountains. On the way back to the division, Deng Yu died, and Mu Ying led the army back to the division, fengxi pinghou.
In the thirteenth year of Hongwu, Mu Ying led an army to attack Tun Bing and a remnant of Lin's Yuan Dynasty forces. Mu Yingding's strategy of attacking the enemy on both sides determined the victory or defeat in one fell swoop, and the captured enemy would be freed from the fire and all of them.
In the fourteenth year of Hongwu, Mu Ying accompanied the general Xu Da on his northern expedition and returned victoriously. In September, he was also appointed deputy general, and accompanied the southern general Fu Youde on his campaign against Yunnan. At that time, the remnants of the Yuan Dynasty, the forces of King Liang, were entrenched here, and Zhu Yuanzhang sent an army of 300,000 to destroy this remnant force in one fell swoop.
When Mu Ying and other leaders advanced into Qujing, the King of Liang received the news and quickly ordered Pingzhang Dalima to defend. Liang Jun encountered on both sides of the Baishi River, because there was a river across the river, both sides were cautious, and no one dared to cross the river first. At the beginning, Fu Youde wanted to cross the river immediately, but was persuaded by Mu Ying to stop. At this time, the place occupies the opposite bank, and it is not a good time to cross the river at this time.
His eyes rolled, and he finally ordered people to pose as crossing the river, and when the local camp was in chaos, he took the opportunity to cross the river and quickly start a war. The Ming army won a great victory in this battle, Darima was defeated and captured, and the King of Liang committed suicide by secretly hearing the news of Zaravar. Under the prestige of Mu Ying and others, Kunming unexpectedly attacked itself, and the power of the Liang King of the Yuan Dynasty, which had been entrenched in Yunnan for many years, was finally destroyed.
Kunming Jieping, Mu Ying and others led an army to attack Dali. Dali Duan gathered a crowd to guard Xiaguan, but Mu Ying led his troops to cross the river on horseback, and after circling the Duan army, a surprise attack caused the enemy army to collapse. After the capture of Dali, most of western Yunnan was annexed to the Ming Dynasty.
In the eighteenth year of Hongwu, he returned to Dianchi and suppressed the rebellious areas. During this period, Empress Ma and Crown Prince Zhu Biao died successively, and Mu Ying coughed up blood after hearing the news. But he still insisted on working with Fu Youde to pacify Kunming and other places to ensure the purity of Yunnan.
After Yunnan was pacified, Zhu Yuanzhang ordered Mu Yingshi to town yunnan, and Mu Ying began the life of a feudal official. Twenty-five years after Hongwu, Mu Ying fell ill and died in Yunnan at the age of forty-eight.
