106 engraved works were exhibited in Xiamen

According to the Xiamen Evening News, yesterday, the "Centennial Heart, Carved Long Mijian -- The Ninth Exhibition of Engraved Art Works in Fujian Province" opened in the exhibition hall on the first floor of the Municipal Wenlian Building. The exhibition, jointly sponsored by the Fujian Calligraphers Association and the Xiamen Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, will last until the 16th of this month.

The exhibition received a total of 363 engraved works, 14 papers, after the Fujian Calligraphers Association organized experts to conduct a strict preliminary evaluation, the final evaluation of 118 works into the re-evaluation, the final selection of 106 works into the exhibition, 10 selected papers (including special invitations), 18 special invited works of the backbone members of the presidium, a total of 124 works on display. The quantity and quality of this work have been significantly improved compared with previous editions, and the style of the work has been diversified and explored on the basis of Fujian inscription, and the connotation of the work is more rich and delicate.

Yesterday, four representatives from Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou and Zhangzhou were also arranged to create works on the spot, communicate and interact with enthusiasts, and also held theoretical seminars. (Reporter Gong Xiaoguan Correspondent Yang Yuqing)
